Mmmhh - love/hate relationships with authors are fun sometimes hehe.
You love them for what they make you feel and making you curious but at the same time you hate them ;-)

Vianvamp,
could you give us a chapter reference maybe for the oyster quote? Since page counts are probably not going to be the same as in your edition :-)
Thanks!

We have 24 books read so far this week!
And if someone is currently reading a book that fits for our "ruby" square, then we'll have our first full line for bingo on our avarice mini challenge! (Melissa is reading for ruby)
Other words that would be helpful for one or the other finished line are:
- crown
- coin
- artist
- obese
- bottle
- all-you-can-eat
- sheik
Some books we might be able to move around to other squares so there is wiggle room hehe. But it'll make things difficult.

Yay, I originally had the page number but p.735 isn't super helpful. It's ch.8.

That's great! Good words to keep in mind in case we need to switch things around :-)
I think I'm going to use Sweep of the Blade for champagne if nothing else pops out at me. There are flowers with champagne flute petals etc etc. Sounded pretty cool to me.

The book I am reading has ruby in it. In the beginning they describe a ruby ring a guy is wearing and there is also a “Ruby Red” team. Should be done with it today or tomorrow

as far as I can remember, Sweep of the Blade could also work for banquet & aristocracy (House Krahr is as aristocratic as it can get, no? :) )
Banquet is probably to come, yes. At the moment, we're at a picnic ;-)
Aristocracy is definitely a good one for them, too.
I was just looking for the not so obvious ones :-)
