My reading has been going well this week. Half way through my second book now
I'm 1/2 way through my 2nd book. Flu slowed me down. Plus ladies...this weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving. I will try my best to read a 3rd book but I don't see that happening.

I'll finish my second book over the weekend, possibly tomorrow. Making good progress with it & I don't want to put it down.

You can definitely start now. That deadline is for all books to be posted for Week 1 - the Captains have to check-in with the # of books we've completed for the week.
I will not be done with my book by the end of the first week, but will definitely finish it next week!

Ugh, I had to work today and just got home. So it was a LONG day!!

- if it doesn't fit any of the others, you can put it until Avarice - Anything Goes
- is fine to read as it is not a box set but a collection of short stories (none that are published independently)
The mods have ruled that the thread we had in the Captain's Group for color covers will be closed. So we need to do better as a team to make these decisions. - If you see any requests for color cover, we'd like you to participate and give your opinions.
- If we are divided, we shouldn't use it for that color. On the same note, if the cover doesn't look at least 50%, it shouldn't be used for color.

I've just finished my 2nd book and am about to update on the spreadsheet now.
I read 4 books. One book didn’t qualify. 3 books updated on the SS.
I had a minor setback yesterday so I'm changing the book I had planned for today so I can get it finished in time, in order to keep my number of books where it should be. It's not much on the page points, but at least it will count for our book totals. Sorry!

Yes for 1st 3 Sin Bingos.I'd say:
Alien 'N Outlaw - No for purple cover.
Dirty Deeds - Yes for brown cover.
Landline - unsure if it is brown or grey?
To be used for "Dark Fantasy" it needs to tagged as such on the 1st page of shelves. On the right side of the book page under Genre, click on Top Shelves. On that 1st page it would be listed as dark-fantasy to qualify. Since it is not listed, it is not a Top Shelf so cannot be used for this shelf.
