Vikki (silverstarz) | 1278 comments My average is 1.5 books per week which hopefully I'll be able to stick to. Might not manage it the last week in October as I'll be on holiday for part of it and dunno how much reading time I will have. But will update on how my reading is going.

On the 1st page of our thread, I've posted some of the Sin Bingo books that have been mentioned. But there no list of books just approved for color. If I have some time, which probably won't be until the weekend, I can make a list of approved books if you like. Though not a lot of MM books.

You should be able to access the Planning Spreadsheet - link is posted on 1st page.

The official Team Spreadsheet can only be edited by me or Ashleigh.

Just read what you can & let us know if you can't meet your #. Are you going anywhere good?

I should have editing access to the Planning Spreadsheet or just viewing access? I'm reading The Cruel Prince, but it has not been added to the planning spreadsheet yet, which is why I'm asking. Thank you!

Back at my computer so tried Ashleigh's link & it looked a little wonky so please try this link -

Planning Spreadsheet

You should have editing access. Everyone is adding their own books but if you don't want to use the spreadsheet, please post the details for the book on the thread & we can enter it for you.

Need Book title, page #s, & if it works for any of the Sins.

Going to Prague. Looking forward to it, never been before but it looks really beautiful. Heard good reports from people who have been there.

What date did you start it? You might have to change it on GR too because it's showing you started before the challenge started

I’d say no to brown, yes to blue.

Amanda (writers_soul) | 426 comments I don’t know if I will get to my 3 books this week as my cat is going through final stages of passing with cancer and our close friend just had her baby a month early so we are going to go downstate to visit her. I will have My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She’s Sorry done and I’m hoping one other. I will keep updated on the thread.

How did you like Anonymous Girl? I added it to my TBR recently and wondering if I should pick it up if I have time for a 3rd book~

message 274: by Cathy M. (new)

Cathy M. (mccathy77) | 5976 comments Oh no Amanda, so sorry you are going thru that! Just try to enjoy the last few days that you have with your kitty and give her as much love as you can.

message 275: by Vikki (new)

Vikki (silverstarz) | 1278 comments Thanks Jill.

Sorry to hear about your cat Amanda, it's always hard losing a much loved pet. Make the most of the time you have left with your cat, I'm sure she knows how much she's loved.

message 276: by Ashleigh (new)

Ashleigh | 735 comments So sorry to hear that Amanda! I lost my childhood dog at the beginning of the week, and it was so unexpected and upsetting. The loss of a pet is so painful. Sending love and thoughts your way!

message 277: by Jill (new)

Jill | 938 comments @Ash I didn’t really like it lol I gave it 2.5 star but I think I’m going to change to 2. The “big reveal” was kinda dumb to me, although it was v suspenseful through to the end

Hi Captains, can I get an opinion on this one: The Hive by Barry Lyga

Yellow?? Or brown?? Fingers crossed for yellow. :)

message 284: by Cathy M. (new)

Cathy M. (mccathy77) | 5976 comments Aww so sorry Jill about your dog! That just sucks. I lost my kitty in January and was just a mess for weeks. Just last week was watching something that reminded me of him and I was sobbing.

They mean so much to us and don't live nearly as long as they should. But they do leave us with memories that will last our lifetime.

**Hugs**

Yellow! And Sin Bingo :)

(It was recommended as a Bingo but have not added it to the list yet)

Ash | 206 comments I'm so sorry to hear about everyone's animals :(
I wish nothing but happiness for them over the rainbow bridge <3

message 288: by Ash (new)

Ash | 206 comments That's wild that The Hive came up, because I was going to mention it yesterday but I fell asleep lol. Glad to know it qualifies for sin bingo, now it's definitely on my list~ Hopefully it'll be good. I haven't read dystopian since The Hunger Games.

message 289: by Jill (new)

Jill | 938 comments I'm like 25% into Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover
I'm crawling through The Wallflower Wager (Girl Meets Duke, #3) by Tessa Dare
TBH I'm reading a birth book I need to finish. Trying to speed through that so I can focus on reading for this challenge

message 290: by Ash (new)

Ash | 206 comments @Jill
Sorry you didn't like An Anonymous Girl. A bad plot twist/ending can really kill a good thriller so fast. Hopefully you like Ugly Love better. I've noticed Colleen Hoover books are really easy to speed through, too.

Yes I just started and I'm already 25% in. And I love all of her books. This one isn't as popular and I'm not falling totally in love with it, but I don't think I can hate anything by her :)

message 292: by Ash (new)

Ash | 206 comments I've only read 2 books from her so far: Ugly Love & November 9. If you have any recs on which one I should try next from her, that'd be great!

Do you guys think this cover is purple enough for a category? Or blue enough?

If you liked the two you mentioned, I think you'd enjoy Hopeless (and it's follow up Losing Hope) or All Your Perfects! Verity is pretty different than her typical stuff. I think Without Merit is as well a bit. Too Late is CoHo with a bit of a darker edge but it's one of my favorites from her. Just my 2 cents. :)

message 295: by Jill (new)

Jill | 938 comments I agree with Cyndee on All of Your Perfects and Verity. I haven’t read any others but It Ends With Us is on my list and have heard great things about it. Also have Hopeless to read. She’s just so good

It Ends With Us is SO good. I think that is the first book I read where something made me gasp out loud and I had to shut the book and step away for a moment. :)

message 297: by Jill (new)

Jill | 938 comments @cyndee that’s what I’ve heard!! I bought it for $1 at my library and I’ve been procrastinating it big time. Almost all of the Colleen Hoover books I’ve read have been on audio

4 of my 7.25 average books complete. Will have no issues completing the rest and may even be able to contribute if anyone is falling a little short. I'm not helping out too much with the page points but I'll do my share on # of books read and throw in as many sin bingos as I can. :)
