No problem, thanks Stephanie! We understand that some weeks you might not be able to read as much as others but if you could just let us know what your status is a little earlier in the week so we can plan it out, that would be great!
Cathy, I don’t think I’ll finish Evvie in time. I was so busy today I got no reading done :( And tomorrow will likely be a not much reading day too. My baby shower is next weekend and I have a bunch of stuff to do. I will load up more on audiobooks for next week too since I have out of town guest staying with us and shower stuff. I should still get my 3 done!!
How exciting! When are you due?No problem Jill, we have 32 books done now which is over the minimum we need. And there are still a couple in progress so we're good. I'll move the Evvie book to Week 4.
I’m due in January! Early shower cus of the holidays 😁And I finished my lovely wife. I will post the review soon
I'm heading to bed now but I just came across cat and bear in Overnight Sensation so added those options on the SS. I'll finish it quickly in the morning and have another short one I plan to listen to while I'm folding laundry. Not sure if it has animals in it though...
I'll put it in the SS now and change to mini if I find an animal in it.

Jill, when in January? Do you know the gender? Is it your first? My birthday is January 27 & my granddaughter is due with her 2nd (a girl) on January 25.
Vicki, I’m due Jan 16th with a girl! I swear it’s year of the girl. I know so many people having girls. And this is my first ☺️ I also know a lot of Jan babies. Seems like a popular time to be born lol

Cathy M. wrote: "Great! Please Just make sure you finish it after the start of the 4th week ;)"Definitely won't be finishing another book before the deadline, so those 2 I mentioned for the mini-challenge will fit into week 4.

Mini Challenge:
When it said you could find the same animal 7 times, I didn't know if you could in the same book, or if it had to be across 7 different books, but I'll just mark down all the animals I found, including the ones I found 7 times, so whichever one hasn't been used by other teemates yet can work~
Lizard (pg. 9 - "The nine-legged crabs hunted the lizards.")
Caterpillar (pg. 10 - "The caterpillars might have been larvae of some sort.")
Moose/Elephant (pg. 10 - "then there were grazers, maybe animals like gazelle, moose or elephant.")
Bird (pg. 17 - "Merl listened to birds squawk and sing.")
Wolf (pg. 53 - "Well you have never seen wolves-")
Bat (pg. 54 - "The bats were swooping and singing.")
Lion x7 (pg. 85 - "Lions don't have the brains to need a big head.")
Eagle x7 (pg. 108 - "Finding a few eagles in a big forest, that's not easy.")
Owl (pg. 165 - "A tiny owl peeked out of a burrow-")
Turkey (pg. 175 - "Turkey clans and boxer birds began barking-")
Scorpion (pg. 233 - "-an attack of scorpions would get only one tree.")

It would have to be 7 different books. But thank you for all the examples you've listed :)

Thanks Cathy!! It's been so great, but he's headed back to school. :(
Have just a couple chapters left in my last book on the SS so I'll be done soon!!

We have about 1 hour left until check-in. There are no other books we're waiting on besides the ones for me and Ashleigh for week 3 right?
Week 3 is officially done & we are on to Mystery week (Week 4)!We finished with:
43 books completed
1814 total book points
60 total BOM points
Currently 12th of 16 teams (So close to 11th!)
Right now I have this listed as a mini-challenge in the SS, but would you consider this at least 50% pink? If so I can move it to Sin Bingo...
I finished my first book for Wrath Mini Challenge. It just worked out, I was reading it for another challenge I'm part of. Makes me happy!!

Sorry I'd say no for pink because the writing takes up a large chunk of it.

"Love when that happens!
Namita wrote: "Hey team, what do you think of this cover? Could it cover red or yellow?

Namita - for A Hint of Frost, can you give more of an explanation on how it fits that task? A quote or little more info?
Cathy M. wrote: "Namita - for A Hint of Frost, can you give more of an explanation on how it fits that task? A quote or little more info?"Oh sure.... I will update it tomorrow. It's a paper back, I will quote the fight scene.
It doesn't have to be a long passage or anything, just something that explains how it fits that task. Thank you!
Hi! Sorry for going MIA last week. It was a bad week, but this weeks going so much better. Should have no problem getting all 3 books done plus at least 1 mini challenge as crime/ mystery/ horror is my jam. I’ll be planning tonight and updating the spreadsheet :)
Cathy/Ashleigh:18. Read a book where a theft takes place - Mini Challenge....would stealing a corpse count!!
- someone stole a corpse and put in the backyard of the MC!
I'm not entirely sure but from skimming thru some reviews, think it does not fit since the corpse was not actually stolen during the course of the story. It just reappears then.
Cathy M. wrote: "Will work for #59 - MPG Mystery & between 100-199 pages."Awesome!! I will add it to this one.
Wow, that is a great start! How did you like Elantris? I've had that book for ages and never got around to it. Actually, I read a short story he wrote before and couldn't get into the writing/story so I keep pushing Elantris back...

and I really enjoyed it. So, reading more of his books.
