Go for it Namita!

Ash, did you answer the DQs for Wilder Girls? If so, can you please link your posts?

No, not yet. I bought it but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I read one of his other books, The Cold Cold Ground recently which I really liked.

Great job everyone! We should have no problem hitting our target this week. We'll probably go over which is fine as long as we don't go over 120% (45 books). So if you have not responded yet to let us know what you will be finishing this week, please do so ASAP!!
I've been going thru all the books that have been completed to see if they can work for the mini-challenge instead. So if you see your books being changed, I'm doing it since it is the same (or a couple more) points in the mini-challenge but we get bonus points for lumping them into collections of 7. Didn't find too many that work for tricky animals but we have some more to fill another collection for easy animals.
I'll probably go thru books on the planning sheet as well but probably won't get to that until tonight.

Countdown End of Week 3/Beginning Wk 4
Please try to get all your books completed at least 30 minutes before the end of the round so Ashleigh & I have time to check and post everything.

Never mind. I re-read your post and understand it now.

:) Might as well get the extra bonus points since it works. I still need to finish updating the Mini-Challenge tab (left it without dates & note at the end) to remind myself to change the Wk 3 Books tab on our planning sheet & on the main one.

Put it down for Flamingo since that was in there and different than the normal animals.

Jill - I got a copy of the book so I'll look for the animals later tonight and add if I find any. I got a copy of your other book (Evvy Drake) too.

1. We get book points based on pages.
2. It gets counted for our weekly count of books (book accuracy).
3. We get BOM points if you answer/ask DQs.
4. We can use it for Sins or Mini-Challenge (one or the other, not both).
I think you may be getting confused with the different ways to get points?

My average books per week to meet is 7.25 so I've been rounding that up to a minimum of 8 to make sure I'm covered 100%. However this weekend my son is home from college for a few days so I may only hit 7. 😕 I'll do my best to throw in an extra one but it's not looking promising.

Enjoy your weekend with your son!

I'll update all the mini-challenge books later tonight.

WRATH Mini-Challenge
Wrath is a great anger that expresses itself in a desire to punish someone.
Hopefully your blood wont boil too much as you look for books to fill the tasks! If you do need a Mod to punish, go find a different group ;-P
If you have questions about the task, interpreting the meaning or want to know if a book fits, check out the Goals FAQ sheet
If you still have questions, we suggest you move on to a different task or book.
For information on the "Read a book with MPG Crime, Mystery, Thriller or Suspense that also meets the criteria..." tasks, see our NBRC challenges Murder & Mayhem Part 1 & Part 2.
For "find word X" tasks, singular / plural variants will be acceptable
◈ Only books finished between 28th October and 4th November will count for the Wrath mini challenge (i.e. books finished in week 4).
◈ Books will either count towards the main part of the challenge (the Seven Deadly Sins) or towards this mini challenge.
◈ You will gain 5 points for each task you complete
◈ You may only complete each task once

There will be a new tab for this mini-challenge, with the list below; provided now for your information
(view spoiler)

If it helps I can probably squeeze in a short book that will work for culinary mystery - Blueberries and Bereavement

I just finished it and I actually really liked it. Great October read if you want something fast paced and scary. Have you read it yet?
