To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?

Narrated by the Author are non-fiction books on how to narrate an audiobook.

Chirpy Chapters are beginner readers set in the same magical realism universe.

Fun-size Fiction is all my flash fiction collections - listed as a series on the retailers like Amazon but possibly not meeting your definition of a series. If this one doesn't meet your requirements for a series page, could you please leave the series reference in the title so it's less confusing for readers to identify the books.

The first two sound fine, but the third would not be a series. The references therefore would not go in the titles, but can be moved to the edition fields.

For the second, I took another look at the books, and they really don't seem to have a universe (in the usual sense of the word) in common. Could you elaborate on that, please?

The Chirpy Chapters books don't have crossover characters. I made them a series because my kids helped me write them and they both have magical realism elements. I thought of them as a series like the Aussie Bites and Aussie Nibbles early reader series we have in Australia. You can leave them separate if that isn't a strong enough link for Goodreads and I'll reapply if I write more books to link them.

I have another series request. I have received my rights back to my Got That Swing series that already has a series page established. I'm republishing Don't Mean a Thing as book 1, so that can stay the same but I'm changing the book that's currently listed as 0.5. Gotta Be This or That is a duet of two short stories that I'm separating and publishing individually. I'd like Gotta Be This or That removed from the series page and replaced with Baby it's Cold Outside (which is a prequel short story so would suit being listed as 0.5).

I'm not familiar with those, but I suspect we would not consider them series either. Those sounds like what we would call an imprint.

We don't remove valid book data, but I added the new short as #0.5A. When the second one is up, we can add that as #0.5B.
