Q: Should I update the Kindle info for a not-yet-published-book?

Newbie librarian question.

This book is listed with a publication date of tomorrow for the Kindle edition and clicking the Amazon link doesn't find it.

However, searching at Amazon shows the Kindle edition is in their system, but with a different ASIN and a release date in December.

Should I
1) Create a new edition with the current Amazon info for the Kindle edition?
2) Update the existing edition (but I don't know the source of that info, or why it was wrong other than that the release date was changed)
3) Something else?

#1 is preferable, as there can be many reasons a given ASIN is not found on Amazon. For example, sometimes, the different countries' Amazon sites have different ASINs for the same Kindle edition.
