I read that book over NY and was very disappointed... I noticed I kept speed reading through just to finish it and then at the end I had to double-check that my ebook had downloaded correctly as it was so abrupt :/
I did notice that some reviewers of this book either loved it or hated it... I know where I stand haha!

I finished reading Where the Crawdads Sing this week and I wish this book just never ended! It was definitely a highlight for me and is now in my absolute favourites list, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

The intensity came from a true to life exploration of mental illness, alcoholism and the impact these illnesses innocently have on ‘salt of the earth’ people.
