Amy | 21 comments Just finished reading. Fabulous! Makes me want to reread again, as I'm sure I'll "see" and gain more with any subsequent re-reading. But I'll wait a bit, as I feel the need to chip away at more of my Coover TBR list.

Generally, I would say that I enjoyed the ominiscient narrator chapters more than the Nixon-narrated chapters.

These are the chapters that feature rollicking, "stay-on-your-toes-or-you'll-surely miss something" prose, a whirlwind of pop culture references, lists, snippets of song lyrics, etc. Great fun.

I also felt that some of the non-Nixon-narrated chapters could work well as stand-alone short stories.

I highlighted a bunch of stuff on my Kindle; perhaps when I have more time to devote to writing my thoughts, I'll refer to those notes.
