Allison | 125 comments Thank you for posting this! I like to collect light novels and found a couple from the third list dirt cheap on Amazon. I have a shelf dedicated to this, too:

https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

but, since this is only stuff I've read, I don't think I have anything you don't, so it's probably not any sort of resource.

That's my favorite one, so many cool finds that you just hope make it over here. Still hoping the female version of Sherlock makes it over (Sakurako San's Investigation).

Mine:

Manga / LN without Animé Adaptations

Picking up Where The Animé Left Off

Others:

Japanese + Chinese Fantasy (that take place in the two countries respectively).

Pardon me Selena, but would it be alright for me to suggest a volume I wrote for the American Light Novels list?

I'm glad you posted this because I only knew of Brandon Varnell, so it's nice to know there are other OEL authors out there (I haven't been able to find many). Brandon and I actually live in the same city (Phoenix, AZ), but I've only been able to speak with him a few times on facebook XP

If you think it fits the list, go ahead and add it. That's how lists work on Goodreads afterall. :)

Thanks for helping me out =) I thought it was an admin thing.

I just discovered I can't really add it because it's a book I wrote. It's a new release and not many people know about it.

Terrence (grnkrby) | 347 comments I added a few books I consider American LNs.

This one was written originally in English, though I checked and the author was born in Malasia, so idk. =/

It has an audiobook version on Hoopla.

The Mind Control Assassins (Trigger Locked Book 1) by Sekina Mayu

If the book's on Goodreads, you can add it to the list. :) If it's not on Goodreads, just post the book information in this thread here. Title, ISBN, stuff like that. :)

James Penn (jkpenn) | 19 comments Alright, thank you Selena. I really wasn't sure what to do, and I didn't want to be rude, so I figured it best to get your permission before posting.

The book is Eiichi P.I., Vol. 1
Eiichi P.I., Vol. 1 by James K. Penn

^ If it's in the Goodreads database, you can just go and add it yourself. :) You just click the "Add Books to This List" and you can search for it.

I tried that, but it gave me a notification that because I'm the author, I can't add my own book to the list and I can't vote for it.

I understand the reasoning behind this. I must admit, in my excitement upon seeing the list, I didn't realize it was a poll, and I would rather not vote my own book on to it. It doesn't have to be added, I just figured I would give it a shot.

Huh. I didn't know authors couldn't add their own works. I'll add it in for you then.

I can understand for popularity-contest type lists, but for ones like this that seem more like a resource, I find it odd.

By the way, I updated my second post to include all of the listopia lists so they're easier to find later. :) I may make more sections as more lists are posted here.

Terrence (grnkrby) | 347 comments I made a Listopia for Japanese novels / light novels you read in 2018.

I think I might actually end up reading more novels this year than last year thanks to Bookwalker JP. O.o
