Daemon gets frustrated and throws the handkerchief at her, then storms out.

One of the other men comes in, carrying a blanket. He drops it at her feet without a word, and walks out.
About an hour later, another man stops by, leaving a platter of food. It was simple, but through the cracks in the wood, it was visible that it was what everyone was eating- a slice of bread, a small cupful of soup, and half an apple.
"Dead?" He gives the girl a confused look. "What do you mean?"
"Kill yourself?! Lady, that bounty is from a courtier, a prince, who you made an impression on. He's under the belief that you were taken prisoner by a caravan of thieves after a ball. He wants to marry you, not kill you."
"Then tell that to the courtier once we get there. I'm sure he'll be happy to accommodate, especially if you flash him those daggers."
"You do realize that the captain is listening to the whole conversation? He's quite determined to get you to the city of Lorina. I don't believe that he'll let you die on this trip."
"Because the prince is a nitwit, that's why."
"And she is, if you tell off the prince. We're meeting him at the sea port just outside of Lorina."
The man scoffs. From where he was eavesdropping, Daemon pales. His crew mates had often called them that name.
Daemon watches, waiting until she falls asleep.
Daemon walks in, and gently cleans off her wound, preventing infection. He bandages it, then takes the blanket and puts it on top of the sleeping girl.
Daemon blushes awkwardly, looking down at her.
Startled, Daemon tenses, but after awhile, he relaxes, stroking her hair softly.
Daemon leans back, continuing to stroke his hair.
Daemon has fallen asleep, his hand on her head.
Asleep, Daemon doesn't look as ruthless.
Daemon mumbles something, starting to wake.
It's a small pendant made out of an old wood, a faint engraving saying "The King of the Seas."
Daemon shifts slightly, starting to wake.
His eyes slide open, and he looks around, confused.
Daemon glances down at her, and nods slowly.
"Why would you look for me?" Daemon tilts his head slightly.
"And what was this gift?" He pretends to not have heard what she had said to his crewmate.
"Really?" He shifts, her head still in his lap.
((I'm sorry, I don't understand that...)$
((Hehe, okie))"But what does this have to do with me?"
"As what?" Daemon, without realizing, has started to stroke her hair again.
He sighs. "Then perhaps it will sooth you to know I already know."
"Yes." He continues stroking her hair.
Daemon cries out in pain, his hand leaving her head and going to holding his jaw.
Daemon swears under his breath. "What the hell was that for?!"
Daemon grumbles something about women under his breath.
Daemon stands and leaves without a word, closing the door gently.
Daemon goes to sit in his cabin, grumbling under his breath.
As they go over a wave; the door creaks, daemon having not locked it.
((I'm imagining the outfit Amy was wearing in that one episode with the siren))One of the men drops off some breakfast.
The door isn't locked when he leaves.
Daemon is back on deck, shouting orders.
The crew member doesn't seem to care she's above deck and points to a door beside where Daemon is standing.
Daemon sees her and avoids eye contact.
Daemon grumbles something under his breath.
