M'rella I've been wanting to read this since Sept. 2010. It only took me 4 years and a buddy read to finally move it up my reading list. I am so ashamed of myself *shakes head*

Tully Vincent I bought books 1 and 2 last month when they were on sale for 99 cents each. But I totally understand about how long it takes to get to some books. . . I have a ton on my Kindle I've purchased and not yet read!

M'rella I bought the whole series on Kobo a couple of months ago, when they had 80% off. They might again. If another sale happens these next two weeks, I will let you know.

I also joined a challenge on BookLikes to read books already on my device. I read 48 books from it this year. Out of probably 400. LOL Still, it's a progress :D

M'rella Here are some discounts that Kobo is running right now. Just keep in mind that most of it is epub. But then again, there is Calibre :D

Kaje Harper I'm into book 2 on my reread, but it would be fun to discuss the books. This is a favorite high-fantasy series for me. It has a bit of a YA feel to it and I do recommend it to the teens who are looking for gay fantasy books. There is no really graphic on page sex that I recall even in book 2, (and very little sex at all in the first book - Kiram is 17, and it is very definitely a slow-burn, friends to lovers with complications story.)

It's really one long book in 2 parts - you have to read both. There is no plot resolution after the first one.

Tully Vincent Thanks for the heads up on the plot, Kaje! Lucky I purchased both on sale then! I'm going to start on these within the next week.

Kaje Harper I'll keep an eye on the thread and come chat if you guys are here :)

I love this author's style, so I'm happy to see people trying her work.

M'rella awesomenesssss =)

I am doing a buddy read with Tais-nar starting tonight. It looks like we are the only two left on this planet who haven't yet read Mark Cooper versus America.

So, next week is perfect for me! I will be lurking :D

Tully Vincent Not the only person, Mammarella. . . I've not read that one either. And I like Lisa Henry a lot. But my next by her when I get around to it will be Sweetwater

I don't like late 19/early-mid 20th centuries :(

Tully Vincent LOL. . . I'm not so big on college guy stories in most cases. :)
Different strokes.

Kaje Harper I loved both Mark Cooper and Sweetwater (although Sweetwater has a dark tone to most of it - Mark Cooper is light and funny and warm amid the kinks and slightly more serious moments.)

M'rella Are you reading yet? =)

Tully Vincent well. . . no *blush*
Right now reading Play Me, I'm Yours and should finish that tonight/tomorrow, then I'm going to move to Hunter of Demons (the BOM for LGBTFantasy). Maybe after that one.

Kaje Harper LOL - distracted by the pretties...

M'rella I have pretties, too, so it's OK =)
But we need to start soon!

M'rella How's everybody's pretties doing? =) I am almost done with Hidden Gem. Can't get prettier than that :P

Kaje Harper I'm contemplating Champion of the Scarlet Wolf Book One which is supposedly set in the same world as White Hell... But the TBR is long.

M'rella Are the books in sequence? Does it matter if you read Lord... or Champion... first?

I think the secondary characters carry over - it is called "book 3" for the White Hell series, even thought the MCs appear different. I'd read it in order.

M'rella thanks! good to know :)
