Which of the above? Judging by their descriptions, they are only related thematically.

Many authors have very loose definitions of what constitutes a series.

First of all, thank you for honoring my request. I'm sorry, and apologize for any misunderstandings.

However, I do ask that you trust me when I say that the series is connected, as far as themes, places, setting, timeline, (and yes even characters are connected within the books).
