Dear GoodReads/LibrariansIs there a way for me to delete or edit some quotes I have created and added to "my Quotes"
The problem?
When I click in the Authors quote name (My name or Celeste Alexander)
It takes me to my Authors page, HERE ==> https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
It doesn't recognise me or the quote creator and I cannot edit the quotes i have created and added to "my quotes"
Yes I can remove it from "my Quotes" but not able to delete or edit the quote itself.
if I created my own quote/quotes I should be able to delete/edit it surely?
I have joined goodreads recently, therefore I am learning to navigate the site.
I am not an Author yet as I am writing my first book...
my book is coming soon....

#112: Are the quotes from your actual book? GR doesn't usually have an author page without a book. (It is not, by the way, your page yet. You have to apply to claim the author profile after a book exists.) Librarians can edit/delete quotes.

From what I've seen you are not likely to be given the profile until the book is published. Anyone can apply to become a librarian, but not everyone is accepted, because they don't need more at a given time or whatever, or it can take awhile. If you tell us which ones you would like deleted, we can do that, or edit them. Without a book they may not be kept anyway, but as it's the weekend there aren't many higher ups around the forums to make that call.

All my quotes have been deleted? How come? The other week, you kindly deleted the quotes I have asked! Today I noticed that all the quotes I have created under my name Celeste Alexander, have been deleted!
I wonder if it would be possible for goodreads to email me all my quotes? Goodreads computer server should have a record.
I have emailed goodreads, for them to email me all the quotes I have created and published under my name.

As I mentioned above, without a book the quotes may not be kept anyway. Looks like the author profile may have been deleted, which would lose the quotes, but an author profile with no book may be deleted automatically.

"Only enter quotes from notable people. Generally, a person is notable if they have been the subject of published secondary source material which is reliable, intellectually independent, and independent of the subject."
Your quotes will *probably* be accepted when you have a published book to your name.
Librarians have no insight in what is retrievable from the server, but you have already contacted GR about emailing your quotes, so I'm sure they will let you know.

I'm not entirely sure how to go about this, but I've noticed several Ann Rule quotes of one or two random words. (They don't have any likes.) Would it be appropriate for me to delete them?
