I LOVE plot twists! They're my favorite part of writing...if I could, I'd do nothing but plot twists.

Beth (bethrevis) | 70 comments Allana wrote: "Do you ever find it hard, after writing and getting into your characters and story, to just go out into public and see normal people? Especially after something really bad happened:)?"

Not hard at all--I kill my characters with abandon and then celebrate with dinner after ;)

That said, when I get REALLY into the story, it actually is hard to go out in public because I usually have forgotton to bathe for a few days and am not wearing pants.

Beth (bethrevis) | 70 comments Matthew wrote: "do you usually base your stories on one thing like for example: romance. or do you prefer to write with a little bit of everything in it?
romance, action, drama, comedy etc."

I like everything. Especially explosions.

Beth (bethrevis) | 70 comments Jennifer wrote: "How do you feel when a fan says he/she really loves one of your baddies? Or what would you feel if you haven't met one so far?"

It depends on the reason why. If they're romanticizing something really bad, like abuse, that's not okay, and I try to point out why the character's bad.

Beth (bethrevis) | 70 comments Matthew wrote: "you guys are so close with eachother.

Colleen and I connected over books, and then I got a chance to do a book event near where she lived and got to meet her in person! She's awesome :)

Jennifer wrote: "As an author you must be perceptive when reading other people works, so are you good at guessing something? Like who is the murderer or who will get the girl in a love triangle? Or maybe who will die?"

Most of the time I can figure things out but every once in a while an author does something really shocking!

We met online and I became aware of Beth since we had debut books out the same day. We were debut twins!

That would be a lot of fun! She's on my list of writers I want to work with someday.
