Does anyone watch Monk on USA? The last season just started about 3 episodes ago. I think it's great!

Season 8 just started a few weeks ago and is the last one. Last weeks episode, Mr. Monk is Someone Else was excellent! He had to go undercover as a contract killer.
ahh that must have been funny- we have only just had season 6 on dvd so our next season is season 7
I love Monk. My favorite episode so far this season is the one with the UFO sighting and everyone thought Monk was from another planet.
I'm going to miss Monk. No one but me watches the show around my house. They don't get his humor, i think he funny. :)
I love Monk and hate that this is his last season but I am enjoying all of the episodes leading up to the end.
I'm going to miss Monk a lot too. But it's better to go out while the show is still good rather than going on until people are tired of it. Wonder what Tony will do when it's over? Maybe he was afraid of getting typecast...

Oh i don't think so. He's done quite a few other things. We'll see him around, i hope.
what else has he done? I don't think I have seen him anything else but what I mean is now that he has done this for 8 seasons I will have hard time seeing him do something which is completly different
He was in an Angelina Jolie movie called Life or Something Like It (he had a small part) several years ago. He played a homeless man who could see into the future and tells Jolie she is going to die. I liked it.
He was in Galaxy Quest as Fred Kwan, i love this movie. 13teen Ghosts, Men in Black 2, and a few more. But i konw what you mean, seeing him as Monk for so long just throws you off killter a little.
I loved him in Galaxy Quest. That was such a funny movie.

Yeah, I caught a few episodes of Wings on USA. I didn't watch it when it was originally on but I enjoyed the reruns. I think Tony was Italian on that, right?
I think so. All I can remember is his strong accent. I think it might have been one of the islands and not Italy,itself, but I'm not sure.
Tony Shaloub was on "Wings" for 7 of its 8 seasons, and played an Italian cab driver (Antonio Scapacci). I used to love that show, but missed a lot of the last couple seasons. He also had parts in Addams Family Values, IQ, Honeymoon in Vegas, MIB and MIB2 (Jack Jeebs, the pawn shop alien), Searching for Bobby Fischer, Cars, and bit parts in a ton of other movies and TV shows - including movies out later this year and in 2010. Quite a prolific actor, actually.
I forgot he was in Honeymoon in Vegas (such a cute movie!) and he was in Big Night with Stanley Tucci who guest starred on Monk. They have had such great guest stars over the years.

Absolutely! Ever since Wings, I have said he was an actor to watch for. I can see him going into movies big time. He has the skill to become whatever character he picks.
