I always put the first line in my blog reviews - I also made the decision for the prologue NOT to be the first line for me - but the first line of the first chapter as that is when the story starts :)

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

It's wonderfully ironic and sets the whole tone of the book.

Oh Michael I LOVE THIS BOOK, I have read it over, and over, and over again. I also reread The Chrysalids every couple of years. Those two are very well loved books on my bookshelf.

Sally906 | 86 comments I can use the internet version on my phone. But choose not to because I can't squeeze my eyes up enough to see. Is such a pain. When I am checking posts at night via the application I rarely name books. Save it for when I am online.

Actually I keep meaning to tell Leonie to make sure she looks after Ember in the next book. If anything happens to him I shall be very sad.
