I suppose I'm a little confused. It looks like he's just trying to put up copies of your book for review? I take it he's doing so without your permission or desire?
I have no idea who this guy is. My book is only offered in kindle format because Amazon holds the exclusive. If someone wants to review my book they should contact me and I will happily provide a preview copy. Not to mention I published a revision. So his file is probably out of date.

Report to Goodreads itself than, I'd say, particularly if he's a Moderator of that group.
It looks to me like he is offering to give away copies of a book that doesn't belong to him. Where I come from we call that theft. The jackass even appears to be willing to convert it to your preferred format.
I just did and flagged the group. The sickening thing is he is supposedly a GR Author. How messed up is that. Get out the pitch forks... a public shunning... Unfortunately it probably wouldn't do any good. I wonder where else he's posted my book.

I do have to say, though, with respect to the other comments here, that 30 seconds of looking at the thread in question and the other threads in the Read & Review group (such as the Rules thread and the weekly signup threads) would have made it clear what was going on, and no one would have had any call to call me a jackass, an a-hole or a thief.

Again I'm so sorry, EVERYONE I am an idiot.... Please please do not think any less of J.J. the fault is entirely mine. I should have made a greater effort to investigate instead of going off half-cocked. I've definitely learned my lesson.
Well, that's the setup here ... not very user friendly ... needs more icons I would say ... that should give a clear status and enable easier tracking of activities ...Who does one contact to start revamping the Goodreads software design ? Collating data from threads is tricky ..
Or an author could remember what they signed up for a month ago or read through a thread before pitching a fit and inciting others to get out their pitchforks. Seriously. This is not a GRs set-up issue.

I believe GR's moderators who received the flag should also be notified of the mistake.It's one thing to delete a post but that doesn't make it right because no one can see it anymore. The wrong has been done and erasing the post is just putting a Band-Aid on the problem.
I already did it at Misfit's suggestion.

Just took care of it. I wish J.J. would have suggested these things when I messaged him asking how to make this right, because I didn't realize I could.
