Finishing Indecent Proposal by Molly OKeefe. And looking forward to tomorrow's releases by Hoyt and Gibson--especially the Hoyt!

About a quarter of the way through SUFFRAGETTE SCANDAL by Courtney Milan. For some reason I didn't think I would like this one but it has surprised me. I think it's the characters - I really like Free and Edward.
I really wanted to pre-order Elizabeth Hoyt's DARLING BEAST but for some reason it's not available on Amazon. Does anyone know why? I'll have to go to an actual store and buy it next time I'm out running errands. Definitely looking forward to that one.

It's related to the ongoing dispute between Hachette Book Group and Amazon. Anything published under one of Hachette's imprints isn't available for preorder on the site but can be purchased on or after the release date. Not quite as fun as waking up to new books on a Kindle but at least they can still be bought :)

Just realized I hadn't checked in here yet this week. (Been buried under a pile of edits).
Excited for the new Hoyt and Shalvis. Not sure wich to go with first...

There is a new Shalvis? I will have to look for it! Sadly the Gibson has been postponed but I did buy Manda's novella and am really enjoying it.

Thanks, Deb! Yeah I guess the release schedule for Shalvis'latest trilogy was ultra back to back! I'm glad though!

I loved this one! How did you like it?

are quotes considered spoilers? if so, look away, because here's a couple: "Just when he thought he'd burned all his bridges, this woman- this impossible, sweet, foolish woman- arrived, determined to swim the moat. Breach his defenses. Make a home. Stay. .... If not for her, he'd be sitting unshaven and drunk in the great hall, morosely counting his steps to nowhere. And if not for her, he would have no reason to fight this battle at all. Perhaps he would have no title or fortune to offer her, but he was determined to see her safe. Everything he did, from this point forward... It was all for her." (SIGH!!!)
"I don't deserve her"
"Of course you don't deserve her. No man *deserves* a woman like that. He mortgages his very soul to win her and spends his life paying off the debt." (Be still my heart!)
Quite a good book, it made me laugh and cry. Ransom is my kind of romance hero: big, strong, tortured, gruff but tender when it counts. I adored Izzy, a true survivor. She is warm and caring, smart, strong.
I loved the progression of the story, the backdrop of the castle, the Moranglians, etc.
