"Because youre not going to kill me. So you might as well let me tell you that you deserve to know." He could see it in her eyes.

The second she let him go he lunged forward, wrapping an arm around her neck and setting his knife against her back. "Try and use your power, I guarantee I'm faster," he whispered in her ear.

((lol, I need Emma or someone to come in and stop him. Oh well.))
Instead, he brought his knife up and slammed its hilt against her skull.

She crumpled to the ground.
Justin came in. He didn't usually drink, but he didn't feel comfortable going back to the Rebels after what he did. Not yet. He didn't even know how he felt.
Alberon left.
Alberon left.
Justin saw her, and his brow furrowed in a frown as he recognized her. She didn't seem like the girl who would get into a bar fight. He walked over and checked her pulse.

He nodded. He would ask when they got back. "You want to walk or fly?" Most people found flying his way disconcerting, but some loved it, and maybe it would cheer her up?
Emma practically crawled in through the door and pushed it closed with her feet. She took a moment to lay down on her back and try to catch her breath. Okay, the wind has gotten a little more fierce than before.., she thought as she closed her exhausted eyes. I have to let Alberon know I'm at the next stop but...Emma let the cold and fatigue pull her into what she meant to be a short nap.
Emma awoke confused. Where was she? The bar. Right. But how long had she been there? She pulled out her phone and called Alberon.
"The bar," she replied in a tired voice. "Sorry for not calling. I got in and I just.. I guess I was too tired. I don't know how much time passed."
"Oh ok, same here then I guess. I wasn't sure if it actually went dark or if it was in my head."
She was quiet for a moment. "Ty WAS complaining about how someone else had sent out that warning about the storm when that's his job.. But if it's not natural, how could it be made and by who?"
