They are the same book, I was accidently issued a duplicate isbn on amazon, and now that it is resolved I seem to have two of the same books on my author page.

The ISBN for your paperback was cropped, as the ISBN13 was entered into the ISBN10 field, which is an issue, though, and it seems to be the cropped ISBN for the erroneous ISBN, as the digits don't match either your current, valid paperback or ebook ISBN.
I'm not sure if in this case the record should be deleted, converted into the valid edition, or completed and kept on the site.

By the way:
the last page mentions the ISBN (3886807975) of the original edition, published in 2004 (not in 2006) by Siedler, München)
but uses a cover of a later edition.

Previously manually added my book (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) which includes a Kindle edition with an ISBN number. Didn't add an ASIN though. Looks like the Kindle edition has come in again (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) automatically from Amazon with the ASIN but no ISBN. The author name for this only has one space between first and last names instead of two, so I can't claim it.
What should happen here since I previously added the Kindle edition myself?

I've fixed the name, Richard, so it will now appear on your author page. As to the ASIN/ISBN, I along with many, many librarians wouldn't think of a kindle with an ISBN. To us and many readers (we are readers too, LOL) kindles have ASINs. That is just the way it is after so many years.
I've combined them for now, but technically it is one book and should be merged. As Amazon auto uploaded it I think if we get rid of the ASIN edition, it will keep coming back. So I suggest we make the ASIN no. the dominant book.

Thanks so much Sandra! For Kindle editions can both an ASIN and an ISBN number be set up for the same edition? OR should I just go enter the ASIN when I add Kindle editions in the future and leave the ISBN number out?

Nope, can't have both, the system isn't set up that way. ASIN it is :)
ETA: I've merged the 2 kindle editions and reviews etc have been transferred to the ASIN edition.
