Elsewhere at goodreads, I brought up the issue that magazines that I had uploaded to goodreads, such as The New Yorker, got deleted. I was directed to bring this issue up in this forum.
In the former thread, it was point out by Tony that:
* periodicals and bound comic books with ISBNs * periodicals without ISBNs but substantially similar to books (eg, perfectbound literary magazines) * single-issue magazines and comic books on an individual and unencouraged basis, although they should be typed as "periodical" in the work: media type field>
Well. Almost all the magazines I uploaded to goodreads had ISBN numbers, yet they got deleted. So either a goodreads librarian or a computer program violated the very rules of goodreads.com.
So my question now is, Can we now be sure that magazines with ISBN numbers will not get deleted? A simple yes or no is desired.
