I own a copy of the book.

Page count isn't on WorldCat. Amazon shows 176 pages but my copy has 173 as the last numbered page.

Is it possible that the 3 extra pages are coming from an afterward or acknowledgement page? (or something along those lines)

In the guidelines, those areas of a book may be counted as pages, hence why all sources might be labeling the book as 176 pages.

here are the last numbered pages
this is on the reverse of page 173

After that there are three blank pages.

The first numbered page begins at 1 on chapter 1. There are twelve pages before including title pages, etc.
