In order to create a challenge board that reflects books that you and your class HAVE READ THIS YEAR collectively, create a challenge for each class that sets your class period's goal. It's up to the teacher to add the books to your challenge wall!
Do not enter a book into your challenge for this group unless you or someone in your school/class has read it! Title that bookshelf with your School and the Class/Section so that you will be counted as a team.
You can enter books on behalf of your students using your own teacher-generated Goodreads account by collecting titles from them in class. The moderators will post additional #booklove challenges sporadically to keep teachers, students and participants on their toes!
Some suggestions for incentivizing the Goodreads Challenge:
-Offering extra credit to students for their extracurricular work -Hosting an allergy-free party after school for the winning class period! -Keeping them updated about other schools/classes who are competing, to get them excited about #booklove bragging rights!
