Lilly skipped in between the rows of compartments, seeing all sorts of people. Some of them had their robes already on, and some weren't even sitting down!! She was very excited to learn everything that Severus didn't teach her!!!! The wizarding world was just so incredibly.... well, magical. She already knew she was going to excel. She was good at muggle school work, why wouldn't she be good at this? After failing to spot Severus, she decided to go and sit down with an intriguing little boy who looked her age. ((James))

"Students, students please take a seat." The Headmaster of Hogwarts exclaimed, raising his hands in the air for all the students to calm down so the first year ceremony could begin. James Potter could not wait for the ceremony to begin, he was nervous and excited to see what house he would be placed into. James was well aware that down his long line of family history, Gryffendor ran in his blood. He closed his eyes as a smile came across his face as he slowly opened his eyes to reveal the ecstatic students rushing about to take their seats. A young, nice looking girl took her seat next to him as the ceremony began.

Well, James Potter could not help but introduce himself to the two people sitting next to him.
"Hello!" His young, innocent face flushed with happiness and excitement. "I am James! Are you excited to be here?!" He chuckled, attempting to sound as normal as possible in such a tight situation.

"Lily Evens. Pleased to meet you. Are you excited for a wonderful year at Hogwarts?" She asked, putting air quotes around it. She giggled. "James is a nice name." Lily looked up at the ceiling and gasped. "Severus never told me about the ceilings!!!! It's pretty!!!" She said, glancing u p at the stars.

"Severus?" James whispered quietly, narrowing his eyes suspiciously as he observed every movement this girl made. She moved flawlessly, admiring every word she spoke. Something about her, he liked.
"Well anyways." He shook his head, ignoring the mention of the strange name. "Nice to meet you, miss Lily. I am excited! What house do you think you're going to get into?" He whispered, leaning over her shoulder to get in on the gossip. "Oh... Forgive me. I do enjoy my gossip!" He chuckled lightly at the comment.

"Severus is the boy that helped me understand that I'm a witch. You see, I'm muggle born. And Petunia, my sister, she doesn't like me being myself at all. So I just learned a lot from Severus. And to that other question, I think I might be in Ravenclaw, but I want Gryffindor. Severus wants to be Slytherin, but I told him he would be more fit for Gryffindor. What house do you think you'll be in?" She asked. She giggled when he leaned over her shoulder. "As you can see, I ramble a lot. It's just... So new!!!!" She said, talking rather fast.

James couldn't help but chuckle lightly at her efforts. They were sweet, in his mind. She was one of the happiest people he had come across.
"No, no it's okay. I like your rambling." James gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "I think I am going to get into Gryffindor, I hope at least. And also, I am curious about your statement about you sister. Why wouldn't she be okay with you being yourself? Is she a witch as well?"

Dumbledore, the headmaster, walked on to the stage with certain circumstance, and greeted the incoming class into Hogwarts. James's heart beat quicker in his chest as excitement filled his veins. This was going to be the best years of his life, he was sure of it.
