NB. This book published September, 2014. Was previously published as “Robots Like Red” November, 2013
This book was written as an exploration of “the self”, free will and “good and evil.” I had the idea for this book while debating online.
It will appeal to readers of Asimov and, in particular, has been compared, by some reviewers, to Bicentennial Man. It follows a robot;s relationship with a young family as the robots understanding and sense of self develops. However, it is a completely different story beyond this.
It was previously published as “Robots Like Red.” Why the name change? I am afraid that I committed a copyright breach in Robots Like Red and received a “Cease and Desist” notice from lawyers representing the estate of a very famous robot fiction writer. “Robots Like Blue” is not a cynical side step, I have addressed all the copyright issues, as far as I understand them. .
However, “Robots Like Red” is dead as a title. What hurts is that I effectively lost all my Amazon reviews. They were starting to build up and sales were picking up, a steady trickle, rather than a flood.
It was rated: 4.7* on Amazon.com (7 reviews) and 4.9* Amazon.co.uk (11 reviews)
Currently 4.5* (4 reviews) Goodreads.
Now it has no reviews and sales have dried up. It feels as though it has been “killed” by lawyers.
I can still view reviews on my Author.central page. They can also be read in reviewers individual page, but these are scattered across the site.
Here is a copy &paste of my amazon.com author customer review page. You can click on the individual reviewers and verify the review.

An Outstanding Read September 30, 2014
I read this book in its previous form, Robots Like Red. It had many five star reviews and excellent comments. While sci fi, it is also a very intelligent, creative, human story, hugely engaging, and is a great read no matter your preferred genre.
It was a marvelous book. I don't want to give the ending away, but I promise if you have any faith in love. Then you will truly enjoy this book. Thank you Anthony for writing it.
