And also the ending I felt was very good. I didn't feel like it was a cop out at all, it felt right and true for those characters, and I liked that ultimately it wasn't one giant big complicated battle scene. It was a mental battle, which I enjoyed even more.

Also this book kept me guessing the whole time, and I loved it. Like the ending! Victor, you clever, clever messed up bastard. What a way to get back at Eli. (Of course he's not much better than Eli, in fact they're more similar than different, but I think the giant "righteous" killing streak made Eli's brand of crazy a bit worse than Victor's).
Also I know It's kind of silly to wonder what happens to characters after the book ends, but I can't help it. I have to wonder what all the characters decided to do after bringing Victor back. Sydney has no where to go really, (I mean I guess she has parents, but they suck) but staying with Victor seems like a bad idea. And what is Victor going to do with himself now that the Eli rivalry is over? I know Mitch was wondering that too. I'm curious whether or not Mitch would stay with Victor since doesn't seem to have anywhere in particular to go either. What do you guys imagine they did?

Actually yeah, you're probably right.

I would love for there to be a second book! I found myself wanting to see what happened after Victor was raised as well. Honestly, since Eli theoretically is impossible to kill, I imagine he could escape prison and seek revenge on the others. I also would love to see new EOs and more chaos that could ensue. I'd love to see more character development and world building in a second book!

I really hope there is a second book. I think there is potential for a sequel. I'd love to see what Victor's going to do now that Eli is found and "defeated" and if Sydney and/or Mitch are staying with him.

Also, I seriously considered putting the book down when Mitch put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger... stupid mid-chapter cliff hangers.

This one was so good and amazing and gahh. Definitely a good choice to read this month.

That's how I felt about both Obsidian and Ready Player One. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy this one, but hopefully next month is better for you. :)

Thanks Alexis :)

Also this book kept me g..."
Yesss! Everybody had a touch of villainy and crazy in them... is it weird I like them all because of that?

What did you think of Victor? (as a character and a person)

Victoria said that dying and being resurrected by S's powers doesn't make you lose them. But that it affects you in another way. Provably to be developed in book 2 :)

YES!!!!
I AGREE!!! Sydney is the lovely friend we all need. Victor really needed good friends and good influences. I think.

She said that on twitter and/or tumblr. You didn't miss it on the book. Powers can be more developed (WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED!!!!).

As far as I know yes. I think she said so on Tumblr or/and Twitter. I won't bet lots of money on it, though.

"There are no good men in this game" was my favorite line so far, and the accuracy there of the real world, letting us see that these characters aren't black and white, but instead fully formed with their own sense of morality- however skewed it may be. That was amazing to me
I loved Mitch the most, he was some pretty great comedic relief while still being so important to the plot.
5 stars here. CANT WAIT FOR THE LIVE SHOW!

Did you like the ending?
