Sean Keeganator Discussion

Sean Keeganator I chose this book because it is my sister's favourite book of all time and my dad recommended that I read it as well. It also has this awesome quote that is referenced a lot.

Sally I took this book for a literature class when I was in seventh grade. BEST CLASSICAL BOOK I'VE EVER READ.

Which quote do you mean Sean?

Sally "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way . . ."

Why thank you Sally, I thought he might mean, "Then tell wind and fire when to stop, but don't tell me."

Rebecca K-G Also my favorite & have read more than once.

I meant the last line/quote in which Sydney Carton explained the reasoning for his sacrifice.

^^^ Most people would be embarrassed to admit that. And, for very good reason.

Matthew Williams Sally wrote: ""It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Ligh..."

Could be the closing quote: "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."
