I chose this book because it is my sister's favourite book of all time and my dad recommended that I read it as well. It also has this awesome quote that is referenced a lot.

I took this book for a literature class when I was in seventh grade. BEST CLASSICAL BOOK I'VE EVER READ.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way . . ."

Sally wrote: "I took this book for a literature class when I was in seventh grade. BEST CLASSICAL BOOK I'VE EVER READ."I meant the last line/quote in which Sydney Carton explained the reasoning for his sacrifice.
jennifer wrote: "worst book i've ever read in my entire life! i wanted to throw it into my fireplace!"
jennifer wrote: "worst book i've ever read in my entire life! i wanted to throw it into my fireplace!"^^^ Most people would be embarrassed to admit that. And, for very good reason.
Sally wrote: ""It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Ligh..."
Sally wrote: ""It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Ligh..."Could be the closing quote: "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."
