Leafmist quietly stalks a mouse unaware of a cat sneaking up on her.

Birchleaf jumps into a tree carefully and quietly stepping on the branches, he stops as she stops and lines up carefully.

Leafmist freezes for a second, what's that smell? she looks around for a second confused.

Birchleaf takes a breath, he then leaps on top of Leafmist clawing at her back his claws deep in her flesh. He carefully takes a bite in Leafmists throat tearing out her throat efficiently.

Leafmist let's out a yowl of alarm but that yowl slowly turns into a helpless gurgle.

Ginger grins as he watches from the tree, " Nice call work, but you could've dug your claws in more," Ginger says to Birchleaf.

Birchleaf rolled his eyes he placed his paw on top of Leafmists head and dug his claws in as far as they could. "Better?" He mews as he lifts up the corpse his claws dug into Leafmists head.

Ginger purred, that purr was so evil that it would've scared any cat, " Much better my small apprentice," Ginger says, his voice a low growl.

"Small......" Birchleaf mutters trying to shake his claws out of Leafmists head, with no luck he placed his other paw on the head and pulled his claws out with a grunt. "Better go see Honeybreeze." He mutters again licking the fresh blood off his claws.

" I'm surprised you haven't grown soft," Ginger muttered at the mention of Honeybreeze.

"She only makes me tougher." Birchleaf replies coldly walking off into the forest.

Ginger sighed, " I know," Ginger said as if apologizing, which he actually was, but it wouldn't last long.

[Evelyn]

Sorrelpaw stops dead when the smell of death overwhelms her nose. She gags at the horrid smell, "Yuck...." She whispers along with another gag, "Where's that coming from?" She mews looking up to Cloudmist her paw covering her nose to try and block out the smell.

Cloudmist padded beside her, but when the scent hit her nose, her eyes widened. The smell of death... "Sorrelpaw, is it a cat?"

Sorrelpaw pushed some ferns and tried to follow the horrid scent. When she did find the source of smell she gasped, jumping back in shock.

"What's with the hold up?" Deadpaw growled, then pushed both Cloudmint and Sorrelpaw out of the way when she smelled death. "Another good warrior lost..." She murmured, then looked at the body. "Overkill, much? Leafmist was killed by a cat,"

Her eyes widened. "Leafmist? Leafmist is...dead?!" She gasped.

"I doubt she'd be faking it!" Deadpaw stared at Cloudmist in annoyance.

((Yeah she's blind. That's why she didn't realize it was Leafmist until Deadpaw said so. The scent of death covered up Leafmist's scent.))

Cloudmist ignored Deadpaw's annoyed tone of voice. Her voice dropped. "We have to get her body to camp."

Sorrelpaw stared at Leafmists body in complete shock. "She-e-e's! Dead....." Her eyes dark with complete horror.

"Deadpaw," Cloudmist ordered, "Go to camp and tell them the news. Get some other warriors to help us get Leafmist to camp."

Deadpaw nodded and padded back to Camp. She would've run, but right now she wasn't in the mood to.

Sorrelpaw just kinda stood there in shock as if reality of death was killing her in the inside.

"Sorrelpaw," Cloudmist murmured, "Are you okay?"

Flowtail padded into the east part of TC, and saw Cloudmist and Sorrelpaw. "Guys! Where is-" Looking around them, she saw Leafmist laying there, just as a horrible stench hit her nose.

Stormheart padded up just behind Flowtail, and gasped in shock. "Oh no..."

Bramblefrost, who still had an awkward facial expression, didn't know how to react. I'm a horrible Clanmate...

Deadpaw padded over to Leafmist's body and sniffed it. "Does anyone know the other scent? It's faint, but I can smell her killers' scent,"
((Deadpaw wasn't around when Birchleaf left ShadowClan. She wouldn't know who he is.))

Sorrelpaw finally seemed to snap out of it she walked over to Leafmist and sniffed her, she let out a gasp as soon as she sniffed Leafmists shredded flank. "T-t-t-that's the same cat who killed Amberclaw!!" She backs away in fear.

Flowtail shifted, and glanced at Bramblefrost, who looked like he was having trouble understanding. Cloudmist took a breath. "We need to get her to camp." She said again. "Bramblefrost and Stormheart, carry Leafmist. Flowtail, lead the way back to camp for us. I'll follow from behind with Sorrelpaw and Deadpaw."

Sorrelpaw started to follow still unsure of what was going on. Grandma died to the same cat Leaftmist was killed by.... thoughts racing through her head like lightning.

"Who killed Amberclaw?" Deadpaw mewed gently. Surely Shatterstar, Crowpool and Willow-whisper would want to know Leafmist's killer.

"Ok." Stormheart replied to Cloudmist, and slowly padded over to Leafmist to pick her up. "C'mon, Bramblefrost. We need to get her to camp."

Flowtail nodded and waited for Bramblefrost and Stormheart to get Leafmist ready. Cloudmist heard Sorrelpaw and Deadpaw (kind of) conversing, and she listened in.

Bramblefrost nodded and slowly padded over to Leafmist, unsure of what to do.

Sorrelpaw snaps at Bramblefrost, which is actually quite brave for an apprentice! "BRAMBLEFROST JUST GRAB HER LEG MOUSBRAIN!!!!" She screeches at a very high pitch.

"Calm down both of you!" Deadpaw snapped. "Don't make me do the same thing I did with Crowpool to you! Bramblefrost, just do it! And Sorrelpaw, you haven't answered my question,"

Bramblefrost just glared at Sorrelpaw, tail twitching in annoyance.
