Thin undergrowth here. Lots of trees for squirrels and bigger birds. The border here meets the Thunderpath, which goes to ShadowClan.

Littlebreeze wondered, Where will I stay until a patrol finds me? I hope Appleclaw didn't follow me. I hope he knows I was telling the truth. If he did follow me, I hope he didn't get hit by a monster, even though he...betrayed me. Unless...he was telling the truth...which then I would become the bad cat....oh great StarClan, how do I deal with this?! What's wrong with me?

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw felt tears well up in his eyes. How could this day possibly get any worse? Well if you never found Littlebreeze or you got found by a ThinderClan patrol and here I was trying not to think about that he thought. Sighing he got up and continued his search praying to StarClan that she was close by.

Maybe I can find a better place to stay somewhere near here. She got up and padded in a random direction, not really paying attention to where she was going. Suddenly Littlebreeze bumped into a furry somthing. Raising her head, she looked sraight into the angered eyes of....a fox.

((Cliffhanger! Haha....thought it was Appelclaw at first?))

Appleclaw wandered around until he came nose to nose er nose to tail with a fox. He backed up slowly hoping that it didn't see him when all of the sudden he saw a flash of what looked to be Littlebreezes fur.

The fox growled and snapped at her. Littlebreeze jumped back, but still got bit very slightly on the nose. She immediately lashed out at the fox, claws extended, scraping its eye.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw watched in a daze as the fox made the first move. He instantly snapped back to his senses and pounced on the fox's back. Sliding his claws down his back before leaping over the fox's head to where Littlebreeze was. "Please don't run off again." He said before scratching the fox's nose before it could recover.

Littlebreeze gaped as Appleclaw did his...she hated to admit it, but heroic rescue...thing. She stood there for a minute, his words sinking in. "I won't.."

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw watched the fox run away deeper into the ThunderClan territory before turning to Littlebreeze. "Good." He said with a satisfied nod. "And I wasn't back there I really do like you. Is there anyway I can prove it to you?" He asked her hope shining in his eyes.

She watched the way Appleclaw acted when he said he really liked her, and Littlebreeze realized he was telling the truth. She felt incredibly guilty, making him follow her. As she looked him over, she saw a dried but nasty looking cut on his ear. "You're hurt!" Littlebreeze said. Appleclaw's previous words had not registered to her.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw was confused for a moment until he realized that she must've meant his ear. "Oh that, Brackenheart clawed me after you left, and after I sort of insulted him...." He said sheepishly.

Littlebreeze felt ashamed. "I'm sorry," She said, looking down.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw quickly shook his head "It's not your fault Littlebreeze." He whispered "It was fur brained idea not yours." He continued "How about we head back to camp? Blackstar will probably want to know about the fox, it is awfully close to ShadowClan territory."

She looked up, eyes wide. "No! I can't go back- I can't..."

[Emrys.]

He looked at her with a questioning look "Ok then... Where do you want to go?" He asked her

"I..." He doesn't understand. Just leave, her mind urged her. "You have to go back. I'll figure something out...I promise I won't join any other Clans."

[Emrys.]

"No I'm not going back without." Appleclaw persisted "Wherever you go I go." He said earnestly

Littlebreeze closed her eyes, taking a breath. "Fine," She relented.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw sighed in relief "So why don't you want to go back" He asked her hoping she wouldn't try to push him away again. "I mean if you don't mind me asking" he added quickly not wanting to pressure her into telling him

She hesitated. "I...want to get away from this. Not you, but...honestly just everyone else in the clan."

[Emrys.]

"O-ok then." He said "It's alright we don't have to go back." He said she obviously didn't go back so why should he make her? "We can go wherever you want." He told her "But maybe we should at least get off of ThunderClan territory so we don't get caught by a patrol." He said

"Can we just..." Littlebreeze hesitated again. "leave the clans?"

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw hesitated for a second before answering after all this was the only way of life he had ever known. He looked down at Littlbreeze "Yeah we can do that." He said softly surprised at his own answer but if Littlebreeze could sacrifice clan living so could he.

She smiled softly. "Thank you."

Most cats would consider his course of action impulsive and not well thought out (which it isn't but moving on..) but in Appleclaw's mind he had been crushing on Littlebreeze for at least half of his life he had finally gotten ahold of her and there was nothing not even StarClan that could keep him from following her. "You're welcome." He said softly brushing his tail over her flank "Now how about we get off of ThunderClan territory I don't want to have to explain that ShadowClan just lost two warriors today." He said making it final that yes they were going to leave the clans for good.

((It's funny, I never planned for Littlebreeze to do this. I guess I strayed a little too far...))

Littlebreeze's smile widened. "Let's do that," She agreed.

Appleclaw stood up shaking his legs to shake off the numbness that came with sitting in position for far to long. He had to marvel at the fact that by talking to his crush he has basically changed the rest of his life. "Alright so where should we go? I want to stay away from ShadowClan as much as possible." He told her. He didn't want to be confronted by his friends and clan mates and potentially change his mind.

"Hm...maybe we could go to Treecut place. For a little while at least,"
