"Is what coming up?" Frozenheart asked, trying to resist the urge to run around WindClan's territory. The wind in his fur made him feel like a piece of him had repaired an empty spot in his heart, though he felt a little exposed in the tree less area. He had always longed to see what it was like under the trees of ThunderCLan or ShadowClan. He was always restless in the territory as an apprentice... Memories flooded back into his mind, both good and bad.

"Um...where they live or...something." Frost said, a little unsure.

"Oh, WindClan's camp!" Frozenheart nodded. "If my memory is correct, we should be almost there. I didn't give myself enough time to remember the territory when I was last here," He closed his eyes as he remembered Tinylight's death. I killed her. How in the name of StarClan will they forgive me?

"Oh, okay." Frozenheart looked a little nervous to her as she studied him. "It'll be okay, you know. They'll have to forgive you; you've changed."

"What if they don't believe it?" Frozenheart meowed doubtfully.

"Sometimes that's not enough, Frost. We're walking in my birth Clan's territory right now. Though you can barely tell because I feel a little exposed right now... There are no trees on the moor here," Frozenheart mewed, finally showing that he was uncomfortable.

She broke his gaze, watching the ground race by. Frost didn't know what to say, or how to console Frozenheart. All she could say to reassure him was, "It'll be okay." Frost sounded much more confident than she felt.

"I hope so..." Frozenheart murmured and looked around.

Rosepetal stared, unmoving, at the snow white rabbit taking its precious time hopping across the rugged landscape. She was intent on catching her prey, and would not let anything get in her way.

Since there had been an odd number when he counted the prey on the fresh-kill pile, Stormtail had decided to go hunting to make it an even number. He knew it sounded weird, but he just had to. It was how he lived. He sniffed the air and caught the scent of a rabbit, but when he caught Rosepetal's scent with it, he guess she was hunting it. he quietly followed the scent and just watched her.

The rabbit suddenly stopped its hopping, and stood straight, looking around in alarm. Rosepetal realized it might have been her and pressed farther down in the tall grass. Badger dung! I think I may have lost it, she thought to herself.

Go on, keep searching for it. Stormtail quietly urged her on.

After a minute Rosepetal slowly peeked at the rabbit again. It was back to leisurely hopping around, and she smiled,starting to stalk the rabbit again.

Stormtail slowly followed her and carefully watched where he stood and where the wind carried his scent.

Rosepetal carefully padded after the rabbit. Finally, it stopped and became incredibly interested in some berries, munching on them happily. She grinned, thought, be happy for the last time before you're fresh kill, little rabbit! and pounced on the bundle of fur.

Stormtail smiled the tiniest bit. Nice pounce. He complimented silently.

It squirmed beneath her paws, but Rosepetal stayed steady and gave it a swift killing bite. She rose to her paws triumphantly and picked up the fresh-kill. Great! I'm sure one of the queens would like this.

"Nicely done," Stormtail meowed calmly from behind her.

At the sound of another voice behind her, Rosepetal dropped the rabbit and spun, ready to attack. When she saw it was only Stormtail, she sighed with relief. "You really shouldn't scare me like that." She said with a small smile.

Stormtail grinned. "I take pleasure in scaring cats when I'm not too busy,"

"I see," Rosepetal said with another small smile. She looked him over. Nice muscles...extremely neat pelt..gorgeous ice blue eyes..yep, definitely one to go for, she decided. "So, what are you doing out here?" She asked in a flirtatious voice.

Stormtail shrugged. "Have to hunt because the number of prey on the fresh-kill pile in an odd number,"

Her eyes twinkled with mischief. "Is my rabbit okay?"

Rosepetal pranced next to Stormtail on their way back to camp, her white bloodstained rabbit swaying back and forth between her jaws.

Stormtail's eye twitched in annoyance. "If you keep bouncing around like that, blood will fall on the ground, and we avoid that so foxes won't catch the scent of blood." He growled.

Rosepetal smirked, unfazed. "Really, I think it'd be better to draw the foxes out this way than with one of the clans' blood. Don't you think?" But she stopped bouncing.

Stormtail's growled loudly. "I prefer not to waste my energy of fighting a stupid fox because of this dumb she-cat spilling the blood of a rabbit all over the place... And I doubt Snowstar would be pleased to hear that."

"You're right." Rosepetal nodded, hiding her smile. "Snowstar wouldn't be pleased if I spilt hard earned fresh-kill blood. But he might be slightly pleased if we happen to eliminate a nearby fox. Hypothetically, of course." She explained this matter-of-factly, as if she was informing Stormtail of the ways to organize a nest.

Stormtail whipped around and pinned her to the ground. "You have no idea what it's like to fight a fox, do you?" Rage glittered in his eyes.

Seriousness stilled Rosepetal's flirtiness. Her eyes flashed, and memories threatened to overwhelm her. She threw Stormtail off her, tail flicking from side to side. "Don't act like you know me." she hissed.

"I did not say I knew you, little flower." Stormtail sat down calmly, holding on to the little patience he had left for her. "I asked if you have ever fought such a dangerous creature all on your own because your idiot mentor forgot to tell you to be careful because there was a fox-kit somewhere around the territory."

With Stormtail backtracking a little, Rosepetal took in a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She looked up and met his eyes with all the seriousness that came with harsh memories. "I have fought a fox before, just not on my own."

"Think twice before speaking lightly of dangerous situations, little flower." Stormtail walked over the river that separated WindClan and RiverClan. Watching water had always been one of the best ways for him to truly calm down, and help him to think clearly.
