Thick grass here, and burrows at every turn. Rabbits everywhere. The North part of WC connects to the Thunderpath, which goes to Highstones (and the Moonstone).

Larkfire padded into the north part of WindClan's territory, getting ready to hunt.

Jesse stalked around, sniffing the air for a rabbit.

He spotted a rabbit and narrowed his eyes, creeping up behind it.

She heard a rabbit, and carefully padded towards it, focusing very precisely on just the rabbit.

Wait...wait...wait...aaaaand now! When he was close enough, he pounced on the rabbit and bit the back of its neck. Nothing can escape me. He stuck his muzzle in the air with pride. To tell you the truth, he found hunting rabbits painful. If he stepped closer to it the wrong way, he would have to run. he didn't have the proper speed to run after a rabbit, so he had to push himself. That was the hard part.

A moment after another cat came crashing down onto the rabbit, Lartkfire leaped....yup, right onto the other cat. "Wha?"

When Jesse felt another cat on top of him he immediately(?) threw the cat off him, unsheathed his claws and pinned it down. When he realized it was Larkfire, he sheathed his claws, but he didn't let her get up. "Why are you trying to get yourself in fight with me?" He growled.

Larkfire struggled under Jesse's firm grip. She could've thrown him off, what with her dark forest training(?), but she didn't. "I- I wasn't," She growled. "I was just hunting and-" Ohhh....

"Then why did you try to put me up as replacement rabbit?" Jesse asked through narrowed eyes.

She stopped fighting. "I didn't...I was only hunting. I guess I was so absorbed I didn't notice you," She muttered, embarrassed her training hadn't covered that. I'll be hearing about this tonight...dang it, why can't my skills be good enough?!

Jesse clearly hadn't been moved. On the inside he wanted to kill himself, but on the outside he was exactly how he intended to be: the same rogue he acted like every single day. Unless he was around kits...they always brought out the fragile cat inside him. No one really noticed unless they watched him play with a kit. "I'll let you up if you promise to never do something like that again. Pay more attention to your surroundings. It might just save your life,"

It took lots of Larkfire's acting skills to keep her from just angrily killing him. "I promise, Jesse, I swear!"

Jesse narrowed his eyes and got off of her, then walked away. He growled loudly to himself. Why does she have to be so gorgeous?

Darksong's eyes filled with emotion and was about to say something, but Jesse stopped him. "Like I said, pay attention to your surroundings and you won't get yourself killed," He shook his head to clear it and walked away again.

No....he didn't...it didn't work? What?! HOW COULD MY TRICK FAIL?!?!?!? Oh great Dark Forest, I'm in so, so, so, SO much badger dung!!!!! I just know I'll be getting more than one wound tonight.

Outside
No....he...didn't forgive me! Jesse didn't forgive me! Does that mean he doesn't love me back...?
Her eyes filled with heartbroken thoughts as she stared at him leaving her behind.

Jesse followed the scent of rabbit, then as soon as he spotted it, he crouched there for a while, waiting for the right moment to pounce, and hopefully it wouldn't make him run.

She watched him for a moment, then a devious thought came to her. He doesn't want me to be with him? Well, for all the pain he has caused me now, I want revenge.

Then again, it's the pitiful clans, so I'll do my 'revenge' in a less violent way (Unfortunately).

Larkfire silently padded around a gorse bush, and sent the rabbit that Jesse was eying....well, running swiftly away.

"No!" Jesse growled loudly and ran after it. Where did I go wrong? I was perfectly fine! I didn't step on anything. Wait... is it the rabbit feels and the mouse that hears? Or is it the rabbit hears and the mouse feels? He shook his head to clear and focused on his running, which was terrible. That's when he started jumping, which usually helped him catch a rabbit that was running away from him.

Darksong halted when the rabbit stopped and turned around. "Wha...?" Then it gave him this really angry look...and attacked?! He backed up in surprise, eyes wide. After a bit of dodging, he narrowed his eyes, pinned the bee-brained rabbit down and bit the back of its' neck. When it stopped struggling, he collapsed. "Holy StarClan..." He murmured.

Behind her bush, Larkfire smirked. Serves him right, although that rabbit was really quite insane.

Jesse sat up and thought for a moment. "I was perfect..." He growled and narrowed his eyes. He picked up his rabbit and stormed back to where he first saw the rabbit. He dropped his rabbit and caught Larkfire's scent. He followed it and glared at the gorse bush she was hiding in. "Why did you do that?" He hissed, rage blazing in his eyes.

Larkfire stumbled back a little, genuine surprise crossing her face. Almost right after, though, her facial features grew cold. "Why don't you just think about it, Darksong." She spat. Larkfire raged away, thoughts scolding as well as praising.

Not hearing, Larkfire kept going as her thoughts silenced. She was headed not towards camp, but an abandoned badger den she used for hiding and such. As far as she knew, no cat knew about it except her and the Dark Forest cats, so she decided to spend the night there. Let them worry. As for Darksong...well, he'll have to worry too.

Jesse stood up and grabbed his two rabbits and headed back to Camp.

He shook his head in refusal and began to run. That softie wasn't going to get the better of him. He wasn't going to cry. Tears were not going to roll down his face.

Larkfire arrived at the abandoned badger den, a rabbit dangling from her jaws. Finding the hidden entrance, she entered and sat down. She began ripping into her rabbit.

She fell asleep after getting comfortable, dreading what was to come.

[Emrys.]

Firestreak entered the north part of the territory instantly smelling the scent of rabbit in the air. He crouched low and started stalking the scent.

Lilypelt was stalking the same rabbit. She wriggled her haunches and pounced on it. She purred with satisfaction.

[Emrys.]

Firestreak also puonced but instead of landing on a nice juicy rabbit he landed on another cats back. He quickly sheathed his claws not wanting to hurt one of his clanmates and by her scent he guessed it was Lilypelt who he had accidentally landed on.

Lilypelt laughed and shook Firestreak off. "Hey nice catch." She teased.

[Emrys.]

Firestreak laughed "Yeah instead of catching a rabbit I caught a fully grown cat." He joked "I didn't hurt you did I? He said with a more serious tone of voice.

"Not at all." Lilypelt replied. She shook out her fur.

[Emrys.]

Firestreak breathed a sigh of relief "That's good wouldn't want have crushed one of my own clanmates now do I?"

"Yeah." Lilypelt said. She looked at the rabbit. It got a bit smashed after Firestreak pounced on her.

Firestreak looked at the rabbit "Umm it still looks slightly edible?" He said trying not to burst into laughter

"Yeah." Lilypelt said. She prodded it with her paw and laughed a bit.

"Do you Want to to try to catch another one?" He asked her already trying to scent another rabbit among the tall grass of the territory.

"Sure." Lilypelt said. Her ears pricked and she opened her mouth to smell the rabbit.

Firestreak almost immediately scented another rabbit he crouched down low and slowly stalked it circling around it so that if he missed it would run right into Lilypelt. He pounced and surprisingly missed "Mouse dung." He spat hoping gnat Lilypelt would have better luck.

Lilypelt leaped after it once Firestreak had missed. She caught it cleanly.

"Nice catch Lilypelt." Firestreak commented looking at the big fat juicy looking rabbit that Lilypelt had caught. "One more and we should be good to go back to camp." He said

Larkfire woke up in the abandoned badger's den rather suddenly. She looked at her pelt, thinking, I can't believe they didn't injure me!
