On a serious note, I started doing Throwback Thursdays on my site, as a little bit of nostalgia and personal retrospective and the first one was for Brisco Country, Jr. Even got retweeted by Bruce!

He's one of my favourites. I've read his books and watched nearly all of his movies. I really enjoyed My Name Is Bruce and the documentary about it, called, The Heart of Dorkness.
And I really enjoyed that series. Although the idea of a "Lord Bowler" really does sound like some kind of New Orleans voodoo king. In N'ahlins he's called Papa Bowler.
Ashe wrote: "On a silly note: Hello Kitty in Hell"Now you're entering Weird Western territory. Very weird.
I have both of his books and I'm looking forward to the Bruce sequel and the Evil Dead show. Will have to check that docu out.
Hello Kitty: Showdown at Sundown
"Yer mighty cute but you seen too much, Kitty. I mean to kill ya and drain yer adorable little body dry."

Zombie-Patch Kids just seem like a subset of the Garbage Pail Kids. Granted, they were a gross version of the Cabbage Patch Kids but still.
Ashe wrote: "If you can't punt and/or crush toddler skulls, you deserve to be eaten."They crawl up on you, in the dark. That's how they get you.

Whoa!"
That's right, I went there. And now I want to see a movie entirely based on someone in a zombie-killing wheelchair tearassing through a dark city, killing zombie toddlers with their two wheels of doom.

Is Uwe Boll still around? I think we just found him the plot of his next movie.

Uwe Boll...Dear God...
I saw an interview with him once that made me hate him less. He's sorta a modern day Ed Wood. His movies are terrible, sure but given what he usually makes, is it that surprising?
I'll admit I have to give him a lot of credit for continuing to make movies considering the usual backlash he gets.

Uwe Boll is old news. If you want to make a truly crappy genre flic, you need Asylum Films
Asylum...they could've made their own I Am Legend adaptation and they go with ripping off the Will Smith one.
So this afternoon when I was on Amazon(where I found those freebies) I came across Jason Brant's page. He is the author of the West of Hell series along with an Omnibus. Anyhoo, I was checking out his page and considered emailing him and asking him about his success and his many reviews but I got sidetracked by something on his site which made me evaluate my own.The good news is I added buy links to Barnes & Noble and Book Depository of all my works to my site. The bad news is I'll have to go back and try writing him and researching other Amazon author's as I originally planned since..I got sidetracked.
I just invited some people, thought I would try to bring some new people into the group to liven things up.
Haha I'm thinking about writing a book on the view point of a prison guard, and bail bondsmen that work at a prison for the supernatural. What do you think?
I think I'll steal that idea! I mean, um, that's a really good idea Andrew. *runs off to start a book about that* LOL j/kNo it really does sound like a cool idea.
We have 1 new member since I sent out the invites. I'd like to see 100 people here, that'd be an accomplishment :)

The Adventures of Brisco County Zombie?
I liked his voodoo zombie master, Lord Bowler."
Brisco County was spectacular. I haven't watched that in years. I wonder if it's out on DVD... Holy cats.
Ashe wrote: "Supernatural prison sounds interesting."There's a supernatural prison in the excellent weird Western The God Eaters. But no prison guard POV. Still, it's one of my favorite parts of that book.
I thought The Cabin in the Woods was ridiculous. If the movie stayed at the cabin it would have been fine but then it took a weird twist into that prison fortress and totally lost me. I watched it a month ago, didn't care for it.
