Stephen In the opening chapter Tristan tries to signal that he's looking for male companionship while in Borders by selecting three gay books to put on his table.

He selects:
Tales of the City,
Howl, and
Clicking Beat on the Brink of Nada

Question 1: How many of those have YOU read?

Question 2: What three books would YOU select to advertise for a date?

Stephen I'll be first to answer this.
Answer 1: 2.5 I've read only parts of Howl and my copy of Clicking Beat was simply called Cody.

Answer 2:
Brokeback Mountain
The Front Runner
Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Want to have something meaningful to discuss if someone asks and the cover of Brokeback will definitely be identifiable. Book three will make me seem a LITTLE bit less ancient.

Averin 1) Two-ish. Howl and bits and pieces of Tales when it was in the newspaper.

2) The Histories, Making Trouble: Essays on Gay History, Politics, and the University, Clear Water.

Because, if no one is interested, at least I can geek out on history or laugh.
