It’s a really good story that just took too long to tell. Too much unnecessary dialogue and details when an inspired tale waited in the wings. I liked seeing some connections to The Infernal Devices series! The ending was spectacular with all sorts of implications for the future. Despite my issues, I’m looking forward to what’s next.

You hit the nail on the head, Jessika. When it was Simon & Isabelle, or Magnus & Alec or Maia & Jordan, I was fully engaged. But when is was Jace & Clary, my interest waned.
