yES

Storm Arashi Best parts for me was when Connor and Risa were kissing in the Harvest Camp bathroom, it was beautifully done... And then Roland's Unwinding which made me cry.

My favorite part though...My top favorite... Is when they were trapped in the crate. Hayden is best troll.

Kierra Boykin Roland's Unwinding. By far the most powerful scene. I love it because throughout the whole book I thought "if one kid deserves to get unwound it's Roland" and then it happened and I've never cried so hard for a character in my life (except for maybe in Mockingjay) nor have I ever regretted my words so much. That scene really helped me understand why these kids are fighting this so hard. Also I thought it was fantastically written.

Monroe Roland's unwounding was the part that played with my mind the most... It was a disturbing scene. It was written so well and I was picturing his unwinding in my head... How it must have looked as the surgeons removed body part after body part all while he was still conscious.
My favorite scene though was when Harlan "came together again." I seriously thought the admiral and his wife were planning to surgically put him back together. I got chills and was so happy when I saw their true intentions... I knew they were good people.

That whole scene with The Admiral and his wife had me crying until I finished the book. Every. Darn. TIME.

I agree, because it really emphasized how startling unwinding would be. It made the story even creepier than it already was, and it could truly happen someday. Unwind is not just some fantasy book that has no chance of happening, and it's not like the Giver because that had traces of magic in it. This had technology in it, technology that could be invented someday. 3D printing has already been invented, and soon organ printers will be created. Technology will continue to advance, and I'm sure that eventually, unwinding technology will be created. The debate between pro-life and pro-choice is very real, who knows what the solution will be?
