What were your least favorite books of the Summer 2019 Challenge? Which books didn't meet your expectations?

No 1 stars but a few 2 stars

2 stars:

I had to know how it ended, and for so long, it just wouldn't get there. I felt several times like the author was rehashing what the reader already knew.

I seem to be in the minority, oh well.

My only 2 star read was The Mother of All Questions. This was a book of essays on silence with a large degree of women's silence (feminism). I did learn something from the book, but, overall, it just got tedious by the end.

I had one 2 star book this summer. (I rarely give 1 star because I DNF books.)

Rough Magic: Riding the World's Loneliest Horse Race by Lara Prior-Palmer

I had heard good things about it, but it was pretty boring. I buddy read it with a friend and we were both disappointed.
