I have removed the photo of Gloria Bevan as I thought it wasn't, but Ive talked with other librarians who are unsure.

Wowsa!

Could Open Library go in the manual? Under something bland like not currently an acceptable source for any data?

We generally list which sites are acceptable, rather than which ones are not.

Another question. I came across a really obscure 19th century author. Her photo is listed as Open Library. Should I delete & upload the same photo from Wikipedia?

If the photo is generally available in the public domain, the more proximate source is not especially relevant.
