Hi, all, I've read a lot of Burroughs's work and quite a bit about his life too. I first encountered him in college in the 90s when I read Junky and Naked Lunch and have been a fan ever since. I feel particularly connected to his ideas and way of communicating them. I have always felt that his work was true in the sense that he means for us to take him literally and not just for entertainment.
I felt particularly inspired by Miles's book because I feel that it fills in many holes in his biography. I feel like I know Burroughs so much better now that I've read it. Do any of you feel the same way?
What do we do next? How do we continue the tradition that Burroughs blazed years ago? Do any of you feel as attracted to his work as I do?
