The Maze Runner trilogy was a good series. The movie was excellent! A lot of people who watch the movie want to read the series. I went with friend. She hadn't read the trilogy and I have.
At the end of the movie she kept asking me questions, but wouldn't let me answer them! It was funny though.

What exactly is it about? Someone told me its a bit like a cross between divergent and the hunger games.
The Maze Runner is about all these boys who are thrown into the glade, which is in the center of a huge maze and they have to find their way out
The boys don't have any memory of their life before the maze.
I wouldn't say it is anything like divergent or the hunger games.

It was a good book, but it wasn't my favorite in my opinion.
I cried in the last book.
The books are fun but in no way better than Hunger Games or Divergent. I really liked the first 2 and, even though I enjoyed the third one, I was expecting something different I guess. I would still recommend them. The movie... that's another story. I personally didn't like it at all. The casting and setting were very good but they changed too many things and IMO this will make adapting The Scorch Trials a lot harder than it should have been. Definitely read the books, wait to watch the movie.
Read the first two books in the series and really enjoyed them. Fun story line. I am interested in seeing the movie to find out how much they changed from the books.
I've read The maze runner and I'm currently reading The scorch trialsive also seen the movie for the maze runner
Loved the whole trilogy and the prequel. The movie was also spectacular, i'm basically counting down the days until Scorch Trials gets released next year. :)

I LOVE The Maze Runner book and movie it was amazing. I loved the plot it was unique and different and I'm definitely planning on watching and reading The Scorch Trials!!!!
I think that the Scorch Trials r soooooo much better than The Maze Runner. I really didn't like the book to screen adaptation because so much wasn't included in the movie. In my opinion, the book was 50'bajillion times better than the movie

I read the trilogy and I am currently reading the Kill Order, I liked the two first books but the last one I didn't like it. And the movie I think it was good if it wasn't an adaption of a book, the changed all the plot execpt the begenning and the ending... I mean they change it all the good things I liked from the first book

I loved the first 2 books, couldn't get enough, then the third book ripped my heart out! I cried for what seemed like forever! I didnt care for this book much! I read the Kill Order and also cried at the end of that one, but I actually really enjoyed that book. Overall, the series is fantastic and i would recommend it to anyone who hasnt entered that world yet. I would even recommend the movie, as it was also excellent in my opinion! I cant wait for the scorch trials!!!!
I think the Maze Runner Trilogy is amazing! I am currently re-reading them as the last time I read them was more than two years before the movie! I loved them then, and I'm loving them even more second time around! I would recommend these books to anyone, even if they aren't avid readers. Personally I loved the first movie but thought that the second movie strayed way too far from the plot of the Scorch Trials book. If it hadn't been a book-to-movie adaptation I would have adored it but, even though I did really enjoy it and thought it was an amazing movie, it was rather spoiled for me because I knew what the story was supposed to be, and could only think about how different it was from the book while I was watching it. But, just to emphasize this, I did think the second movie was a fantastic movie! But I also think it strayed too far from the plot of the book it was based on.
I'm currently reading "The Scorch Trials" and it's amazing!!!!
Love the books. The 3rd wasn't my favorite but I am so excited that he is writing a new prequel that will be out in 2016!!!!

The prequel will be about the boys before they enter the maze. At least so I've heard...
