~October Horoscopes:~*Horror Edition*

Aries~March 20 to April 20

One quick phone call to a friend may turn into a long discussion about the meaning of life, Aries. Be conscious of the fact that there's a great deal of momentum building in your mind now. Once the dam breaks, you may soon have a giant flood on your hands. Be careful about releasing all this energy at once, even though you may not seem to have a choice.

An Awry Stranger:Write about a man or woman who is alone at his or her home on a stormy night when suddenly a suspicious figure at their door in torn clothing asks to their telephone. Your character hesitantly allows the stranger in, when they suddenly realize that the phone connections have been disabled since the beginner of the storm, and now, the stranger is nowhere in sight.

Taurus~April 20 to May 21

It could be that you feel a bit of pressure today to start or create something that you aren't quite ready for, Taurus. There is hesitation on your part that indicates you should take it slowly and learn more of the facts before you jump into the fray. Position yourself in such a way that you take control of the situation rather than become a victim of it.

Tourist Floorist:Write about a home designer assigned to decorate a newlywed's brand new home, and starts to see peculiar happenings in the house.

Gemini~May 21 to June 21

Move forward with your plan of attack today, Gemini. There's an anxious rumble within you that's urging you to get going with a current plan. You have all the facts you need, so don't hesitate any longer. The power of the word is with you. You will be smooth, collected, and confident even in the most nerve-wracking situations. Words will flow off your tongue with ease.

There's No I In Gem: Write about a couple who moves into an old and used house with their newborn baby, Rosalie. In one of the rooms, the wife notices a brand new-looking doll with Annabelle written on its label. At dark, the wife decides to leave the doll with her daughter Rosalie, but instantly regrets it when she starts to feel and hear strange happenings inside her daughter's bedroom.

Cancer~June 21 to July 23

Add spark to your life today, Cancer. It could be that things are getting stale and boring. If so, consider the possibility that you simply aren't challenging yourself enough. Remember that you're responsible for lighting your own fire. You have the perfect opportunity to get something started today, so go for it. Feel free to get other people to help.

Cancer is curable. But death isn't. Write about an average, shy male----who, constantly rejected by women and pretty coworkers---decides to lead a double life killing prostitutes at night in hotels.

Leo~July 23 to August 23

People are apt to try to hit you square on the head with their ideas and thoughts today, Leo, so be ready for the onslaught of information that may come your way. There's a distinct advantage to listening to the whole spiel before you react with your own facts and emotions. The problem is that you're going to be tempted to argue instead of calmly resolve the matter.

L for Leo-ser: Write about a girl who is suddenly trapped in a cat and mouse game with a serial killer after she is drugged and kidnapped by the abusive high school jock whose ex girlfriends have been winding up missing for days.

Virgo~August 23 to Sept. 23

Anchor yourself in practical matters before you try to prove your point to others. There's a great deal of primal energy rising within you today and searching for some sort of outlet. Be aware of overextending yourself when it comes to issues of the mind. You may be so anxious to prove your point that you end up losing sight of the reality of the situation.

On the Verge:Write about a TV cameraman and an anchorwoman who try to film an infamous anaconda snake that has been viciously killing citizens of that town sporadically.

Libra~Sept. 23 to October 23

Don't take no for an answer today, Libra. Know what you believe in and stick with it. There's a distinct advantage to holding true to your inner nature. Don't let others throw you off course with their views on how things should be done. Be confident and don't worry about taking things over the top. There's no such thing as excess today. "The more the merrier" should be your motto.

A Deadly Liberation: Write about a girl whose partying ways take a heavy toll after she is informed the next morning that she stabbed and murdered her longtime boyfriend the night before with a sharp beer bottle.

Scorpio~October 23 to Nov. 22

Be a pioneer thinker today, Scorpio. There's a noble courage in your thoughts, so don't let this quality go to waste. You will be surprised at how cutting edge you can be when you put your mind to it. Take a walk by yourself and contemplate the next major move that you'd like to make in your life. Feel free to brainstorm bold ways to execute this plan.

The Bite of A Scorpion: Write about a climber who, on the top of a great ledge, finds himself at a deadly vantage point where someone with a rifle is constantly trying to shoot at him.

Sagittarius~Nov. 22 to Dec. 22

Be aggressive and forceful when it comes to exerting your will, Sagittarius. Let others know that you won't be a pushover. Your opinions are extremely important, and they need to be heard by the people who matter the most. Have faith that whatever you say has the power to come true, especially when you enlist the help of those around you. Opportunity lies in joining hands with others.

Century 3000: After a heated argument with your character's spouse, your character ends the night by sleeping off his or her anger. When they wake up, they realize that they are in another century, with no one else on the face of the earth but them, except for a mysterious lurking figure that is hunting out to kill them.

Capricorn~Dec. 22 to January 20

Today may be one of those days in which you come to a four-way stop and no one knows whose turn it is. Don't sit and wait for everyone else to go first, Capricorn. If you know it's your turn, be bold and make your move. It wouldn't be a bad idea to signal others that you're going ahead. People might not be used to you taking such an aggressive role.

CapriciousWrite about a pushover who decides to change their soft-shelled ways by taking a pill designed to fluctuate his moods. After an unexpected "high", he or she is addicted to the pill, and continues to take more and more, until someone tells him that his/her skin is starting to turn green, and he barely looks like a human anymore. (Think Frankenstein).

Aquarius~January 20 to Feb. 18

People would be foolish to challenge your thinking now, Aquarius. The power behind your words is volatile, and you may find yourself going to extremes in order to get your point across. Be careful about making promises you can't fulfill. It could be that you're so adamant about your point of view that you make up hyperbolic situations just to get your ideas across.

Bewar-ious

A sweet and enchanting beauty your character is, Aquarius. Write about a beautiful woman living in a quaint little town who is eerily drawn to the outsider of town, a young bad boy who has secretly been stalking her for years. When they encounter, it seems like a match made in heaven, until she finds out he's a cannibalistic werewolf. (Think Beauty and the Beast)

Pisces~Feb. 18 to March 20

Your old ways of thinking have carried you quite far, Pisces, but you may now find that it's time to seek a new platform for your ideas. Look for more adventurous ways to express yourself. Break out of the old mold and try something new. Once you start in a brand new direction, there will be a great deal of support encouraging you to continue along that way

Pieces(of Me)
A group of college students try to avert the police as they trace back to how they got entangled in a double-chained murder, with a dismembered body in their hands, a talking cat from hell, and a piece of parchment guiding them by telling them they have 24 hours to return the cat to the owner or else one of the students will die. The owner and person who wrote the piece of parchment--a 84 year old elderly lady.
