If there was a boss from hell Miranda Priestley was it! My expectations for this book was low but I actually ended up really enjoying it! A small part of me really loved seeing Andrea made to jump through the hoops by both Miranda and Emily and the fashion world in general. It was actually quite hilarious and probably not what I was meant to take away from this story but it’s what stuck with me. My favourite part was the ending though, I thought it was really well done and brought it all full circle quite nicely.

I had finishing listening to the book and didn't know it. Their was no chemistry between Alex and Jamie. She was driving me nuts with her low self esteem and Alexa was all alpha male. Her whole family was a nightmare. I definitely hope the continuation is better

The book was a cute kids book and had a great moral that kids could learn from. It was fast and easy to read and I loved the story of how this lonely sad little girl named Opal, whose mother left her and her dad, finds and takes home this stray dog. She finds him when she went to the store to get mac-n-cheese. He wondered into the store and when the owner saw him he wanted to call the pound. Opal claimed him as her dog and when asked what his name was she said Winn-Dixie, the name of the grocery store. The two went everywhere together. They went to church, library and to a pet store. Opal and Winn-Dixie, met some lonely older people as well as some of the kids her own age. She and her funny dog were able to bring friendship and joy where there was once only loneliness and sadness in each of the people's lives they came across. It ended with a big party to bring all these people together and make them all happy. Cute story but not worth more then 3 stars

Review
This is a cosy Mysteries series I really enjoy. The ship is cruising the Caribbean trying to avoid an incoming hurricane. There is a large group on board who appear to be intent on causing trouble, who are also implicated in the attack and subsequent death of security guard. Millie seeks the help of Annette and Danielle to try and get to the bottom of the mystery. A quick fun read that kept me guessing.

Really liking this series.
Loved K9 Officer Brigit wanted to just give her lots of cuddles. I also love that her Doggie point of view gets a woof every now and again. She reminds me so much of my dog when I was younger. The mischief that she gets herself into is hilarious.
Megan really has her hands full with investigations, the rodeo and Brigit. Throw in man problems and you have one busy Police Officer

I really understand the characters more in this installment. Jamie has really grown into herself, more confident and understanding what she needs with dealing with her crazy family. Alex is an more approachable character you understand him more. The sexual chemistry between him and Jamie is more combustible, I definitely have to thank Dale for the introduction to this series.

Review ~ WOW! So I read book #1 awhile back & was not impressed. In fact, I don't remember anything about it aside from the fact that it was Meh. This one, drew me in from the beginning. It was a lot darker than the first one and what Jacques went through I can't even imagine. And the fact that he went through it for seven years before he got help from Shea, mind blown. I love how even though she felt the bond between them, she struggled with it. I loved how he was so over-the-top for her. It was funny and places, it was tragic and places, it was suspenseful, it truly had it all for me. I only hope the rest of the series holds up under my new high expectations.

Review:
This is an enjoyable series, Ethan finds himself at the airport meeting his be bride against his wishes. Set up by his friends he is set to send Autumn home the following day. Autumn having seen a YouTube video of Ethan decided to answer the want a wife ad with the intent of turning her experience into a feature article. As the wedding draws nearer both realise they are falling in love for real but not without a lot of obstacles to overcome. A good read I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Review ~ Doug the pug was Amiela & her ex Tim's dog. He left to go to Bali & Amiela & Doug were having a hard time moving on. Doug is acting out & won't let any man get near Amiela. She consults a mobile vet practice for help with Doug in which she meets our H Dr. Travis. This book as pretty funny in parts & had a really sweet romance. It was a little too sweet & contemporary for my taste & the animals were the best part.

Review- I liked the magic in this book and I liked the characters. There was only one problem I had with it which won't be a problem to some. I thought there should have been a little more romance in this fantasy. The Prince ws into the female MC (they had grown up together when they were younger) but tragedy with their dad's struck and drove them apart. Now they're older and they have managed to find their way back into each other's lives. The only problem is Kate is what is known as a Wilder and they are outlawed and killed when discovered by the king's order. That means Prince Corwin would hate Kate if he knew what she was. Good book. I will read the next one too

Review:
This was a purely impulse read. I needed to read a book with trees on it and felt like a story with Dragons as I have not read on in a while. So the cover caught me.
I was not disappointed. It did start off slowly and Diana was a bit of a ninny but she grew on me. The dragons were to die for. Such different characters.
Will carry on with the trilogy to see how their story evolves.
