Finished CHAPTER 5

I have such a hard time remembering who did what in book 2, but I think I at least have the most important aspects of the story line in my head.

I really do feel (view spoiler)[sorry for Cia. She is in quite a predicament right now, trying to figure out what to do about the list of the people to kill that President Collindar gave her. A huge concern is that she really doesn't know who she can trust, if anyone. (hide spoiler)]

Cia is quite (view spoiler)[quick to think when in a bind. I hope it continues to serve her well. I hope they don't find Damone and figure out what happened or she could be in a heap of trouble. (hide spoiler)]

Oh my gosh, I forgot to post that I finished this one on 11/13 and gave it 3 stars. I just wasn't as excited about it as books 1 and 2. I did, however, (view spoiler)[love the ending. I think that Cia is made to be a leader and she is doing the right thing by leaving her home and doing what she believes will help. She is really a strong person. I was saddened by the deaths that occurred, but happy that some were not (Gill). That was a pleasant surprise. (hide spoiler)]

I agree. There were some parts that were upbeat and exciting, but especially in the beginning, I was bored and felt like it was dragging on. Then stuff would happen, but it was "why-did-THAT-happen" kinda stuff to me.

And the end (view spoiler)[felt a bit weak to me. It was just meh. (hide spoiler)]

I think I was expecting a bit more and didn't receive it from this one.
