Hi So I just finished reading gone girl 45v minutes ago.. I really enjoyed the book but I have to say it. Was I the only one dissatisfied with the ending of the book?

No, there were a lot of people who after finished reading the book were scratching their heads!
Sure made you feel they deserved each other - but the poor child. I've heard the movie ending is different. Well crafted book, however.
I kind of got the feeling the child would end up warped like Amy was.
i'm not happy with the ending! i worry about their child. lol
I was so dissatisfied with the end as well. Someone told me the movie would be different so I committed 2 1/2 hours of my life to watch it.....only to be disappointed by it as well.
The ending is the only part of the book that made me hate Nick. He should've done something, anything, at that point to keep Amy from raising a child. I can't imagine the misery ahead for that poor baby.
I thought it was great, it was as messed up as the characters. I think ending it any other way would be cliche and obvious.
