Are there any audio recordings of this book that are NOT by Roy Dotrice?

Anna I know many people really love the narration by Dotrice but I tried time and and again and I just can't stand it. Are there any existing recordings of A Dance with Dragons by other narrators?

C. G. Telcontar I don't believe so. Feast For Crows was originally recorded with John Lee narrating due to illness of Dotrice.

I'm afraid that might be the case. I really liked John Lee's narration so much better. :(

Kyla Squires I started with John Lee's Feast and found it much better. I can't stand Roy Dotrice's reading. Tyrion is not a lepricaun, and Danaerys is not Terry Jones as an old woman in a Monty Python sketch. Word on the message boards is that his earlier readings were better, but I tried to listen to A Storm of Swords with Dotrice and found it just as bad.

If you happen to have access to the US Library of Congress, they made their own versions of the earlier books with an American reader.

C. G. Telcontar I wasn't aware of that at all. How does one get access to the Library of Congress, I wonder? It does sound intriguing. Aside from Tyrion, as indicated above, Dotrice is not much to my taste.
