that title really catches the eye...and the taste buds!! another "tasty" novel is "the particular sadness of lemon cake" by aimee bender...i grabbed this based on the title and jacket and enjoyed the novel, as i remember it didnt have any big climax but was a nice but a bit sad read anyways! i want to recommend "horse dancer by jojo moyes...i discovered this author with her novel "one plus one" which was very good but i thought "horss dancer" was even better...beautiful riveting story that you cant help falling into with great captivating characters! plus i learned some interesting facts about professional horse dressage.
One chapter left in The Lost Wife by Alyson Richman, and I cannot wait to finish! What a wonderful story .. full of love, family, heartache and true representation of the Nazi invasion. Lenka refuses to leave Prague with her new husband Josef until he can arrange for her parents and sister to join them. They lose each other and their families, eventually start families of their own and meet up again after decades of longing for one another.
