That would be a good read, and I have it already in my TBR pile....

What happens to the Sicarii over the next two thousand years is part of the story and the mystery of who becomes the last Sicarius and lives to carry on the tradition will not disappoint.

River of Darkness by Rennie Airth.

I've been wanting to read this one as well.

If you'd like to post about your book in the authors' corner, that would be wonderful and very welcome. There are a number of places where you can share it with the rest of the group.
Sadly, Rule No. 2 in the blurb that precedes this entire nominations thread basically states that authors can't nominate their own books. Sorry -- it's just been a longstanding rule with the group.

Would the book,

If so, I'd like to nominate it. It is an highly acclaimed development of the epic crime tragedy reworked from the TV story into book form.
If not, no worries. But, a book you should add to your list, if you have not. :-)

I don't see why it wouldn't qualify. Consider it nominated.

I nominate the title "Persuader" by Lee Child. This is a great read that I have just started reading and I believe that the rest of the group would enjoy this

We haven't voted on our books yet, but when we do, and winners are chosen, there will be a new thread just for the winners.

Sorry, Jacob -- Lee Child was read October of 2013, so he's not available this time.

Oh dear! I sadly miscounted late last night, but I'll still allow three more nominations. Then I'm closing this thread. I think we'll have plenty to choose from!

I've also got it at home, so wouldn't mind this one either.

I don't know that we've done a paranormal mystery before! I was going to decline it because it's more fantasy, but it is a mystery and does involve the Chicago PD, so it goes on the list.
Two more slots open before I close the thread.

for those of you who don't speak German, it's The Last Good Man, by A.J. Kazinski.
