ABANDONED. Misplaced Objects Peek-a-flap Children’s Book

Okay could somebody please help... I'm thinking of a children's book - one that has those finger hole "tabs" you lift to look at a picture underneath. The plot was that you're looking for something, but every place you look, something was put away incorrectly. For example, you look in the broom closet but you find a bat, so you have to put the bat in the toy box. When you put the bat in the toy box, you find a hat. When you put the hat in the hat box, you find....etc. I do remember one page took place in the backyard where you found a hose and a garden hoe. I remember this book from my childhood, which was the in the early 90’s, so it had to be published before than. Does anyone happen to know what book this is?
