I sent it to Alyson. We've been corresponding back and forth for a while now. She's pretty cool. When I sent it to her, I asked her what she thought. After she posted it, she told me it was great, sent me the link for it, and also told me that they had shared the link on FB. Have you not heard anything back from them? Who did you submit your review to?

What's up with bank and your CC? I remember you saying there's a mix up somewhere?

My card never came so I had to have them send me another ad I'm playing the waiting game. I finished my booked am going o post a review. I want to read FOG but I want to have Noreen involved in the event so if nothing else maybe we could do another book along with it so we're all involved but I'm pretty sure that she said she was wanting t read it. I'm gonna check out her TBR.

Okay I was right Noreen has it on her TBR so she may have got the box set you were talking about. I'm ready whenever you are for the book. :)

Which one do you want first, FRAGMENTS? Yes, I was scrolling through some of our previous posts, and I did see that she had mentioned having it one her TBR list a while back. I'd forgotten about that. LOL

Yes, Natalie is on a camping trip. I think she lives in Australia. Aly is the one who was in Hawaii. LOL

Oh thought she was the one who went to Hawaii. Yes Fragments I still want to read Lady Born but for the sake of our event I should be able t have it done n a couple days. I did my review for The Invasion of Falgannon Isle and when I went to publish it on Amazon there was a glitch and I lost the whole thing and I had to rewrite the whole thing. So frustrating but in writing it I went back an changed my review for the god king's concubine. I think I get too generous with my stars so I updated it.

LOL 're your generous reviewing!

BTW I as going to send my review to Natalie. She told me she was away and that she would see it when she got back. I figured there was no hurry to get it done, so I waited a couple of days. When I had finished it I asked her if I should send it to the same email address which she had used to send me the book. That's when Aly responded and told me to send it to her instead because Natalie was on vacation. So if Natalie is away and you sent your review to her, she won't be seeing it until she gets back. How many days can a person go camping? LOL

I'll have to check out the review you wrote. After that mini rant I really want to see what you said. LOL I too have had reviews get erased after spending infinite amounts of time on them. It is so aggravating! I've learned to highlight and copy the review periodically, that way of I lose it I won't have lost everything. Lately I've even been writing then in a word document, then I cut and paste it on Amazon.

I'm just about done with LADY BORN. Now that I'm almost done I can honestly say I liked FRAGMENTS better. It had all the sword fights, war, and sieges I like. LOL. This one is less exciting...no sword fights. Sigh. Also it's not really a traditional romance, because the couple cubes their love and create a strong relationship fairly early in the story. The rest of the story encompasses difficulties that they face together as a couple. There is no threat to their relationship...I don't know if I'm making myself clear. I dint know how else to say it...it's just different.

I'm gonna send FRAGMENTS now. I sure hope Noreen is alright. Where does she live?

Well she certainly doesn't live in Ohio because it's too cold to camp out. I know people who get RV's and camp throughout the summer. The conversation I had with Natalie was separate from Aly's so I don't even think she knows but she did say se wanted it read within a week. I was really honest so by you saying you hope your expressing things clearly I get. I hope it comes out well in my review. You mean it is just fluff? Doesn't he slaughter her rapist? I like the good versus evil too heavy in the evil. Then when victory is served it's so much sweeter. You would probably like the Key series. I know you hate when the author inner connects her stories with cliffhangers forcing you buy the next but I really liked them. I'm going to get my book. Have you got a chance to watch Death Comes to pemberely yet. Probably not you sound like you've been really busy

No I've not had the chance as yet. I can't wait for my husband to take the kids to his parents for a weekend so I can get caught up on my t.v. watching. LOL

No the story isn't fluff. It's just different. When they skip ahead the four years, he inherits the title and has to go back to his estates. There he has to face his past with his mother, who he hates. His mother left his father for his grandfather--no lie! Then they go to a tournament where he runs into the rapist. Shit happens--there's a murder--and now he's hunting the guy down to get retribution. He's about to joust against another knight, but the rapist has taken the other knight's place, unknown to the H. Shit is about to hit the fan! LOL

No, I meant where does Noreen live? LOL Natalie lives in Australia. You know it's there summer time when it's our winter, and I don't know how much winter they really get anyway.

FYI, I just sent off the book to you. You should receive the email from Amazon soon.

Ok ladies, that's it for today. I have read HOW TO LASSO A COWBOY and absolutely loved it!..and I'm not usually a western kinda girl. As a matter of fact, I read that book several months ago and it kicked off a western marathon for me. I think I read close to a dozen western romance novels back to back. LOL

I've also read POMPEI. It's different, but I liked it. It's only a novella, so it's a fairly short read. Mine is the only review for that book, so you can check it out before deciding if you might want to read the book.

The Tiffany St. Claire one is a sweet treat. It's super short, as is usually the case with her stories. I've read a few of them, and they've consistently been 4 star reads for me--all except for one that I gave 3 stars. They're really short, so there isn't a whole lot to them, but they make a nice bedtime read. This one, RECKLESS, I have not read as yet.

The DUKE one is just for you EB! LOL BTW, I'm not sure what the TRUTH OR DARE title is...it may be a contemporary.

I don't know what the heck is wrong with me today, but I started reading Entanglements of all things. It was one of our freebies from yesterday. It's now back up to $2.99. Anyhow, it's a romance set in 1914 during the Hitler invasion of Brussels. I must be losing my mind. First of all, early 1900's is my least favorite time period, second, I hate war set romances--well, I don't usually like them, and third, this one is set in Belgium of all places. I prefer books set in England and America, although I have read a few that were set in France and Russia and they were OK. Anyhow, I just started it and so far it's holding my interest. We'll see.

Okay well I finished my free ebook and put up my review. it was fun while it lasted and had an Earl in it RF. I saw the duke book and got it b4 i saw what you wrote so kudos for knowing me so well.

I thought oh no now it's dogs instead of cats but I'm a dog person so I probably won't mind. The cover is super cute. LOL! I saw Entanglements and turned it down because of the war theme. It's not that I mind but like you said England or the highlands for this gal.

I mean have you ever seen the Boy In The Striped Pajamas? I cried myself to sleep after I saw that movie. My husband wouldn't even stay and watch it with me. I grabbed 4 off the list today and I'll check my email.

I'm on my compaq computer because my laptop is ready to crash. I have had problems with it every since I tried to download that reading program Nat recommended. I'm leaving in a bit to take it to my dads and see about getting it fixed. I miss having it because I can sit and watch tv in my chair while I'm on it. My Compaq I'm in the kids play room and I'm just not as comfortable as in the living room. Anyways you ladies have a great day!

Oh Kate sorry I didn't answer when you mentioned Susan Tisdale the other day but yes I read a few of her books b4 Wee William did me in. LOL When they had that contest on FB a lady had her selfie taken with Lisa Kleypas Devil In Winter and then Wee William beside it. I was like Oh Hail No!!! There is no comparison between the two. But everyone is different I suppose. Who mentioned that they loaned the book to Alyson yesterday? I thought that was you Kate if so you can only loan it once. BTW I'm going to check to see if I can loan my free ebook if I can any takers? It's a short fun read nothing original but cute. It's called Just a Kiss by Aly Broadfield.

Hey EB, did you get your computer fixed? I'm sorry I haven't touched base today, but it's been wicked busy. I've been on the run most of the blasted day. LOL

I started reading ENTANGLEMENTS. It's definitely not my usual style, but my mood is such that I have no idea what exactly I want to read. That's why I decided to try something different. Any books I've read that are set during war time have been either the Napoleonic war or the Civil War, oh as well as the American war for independence. Otherwise, I've avoided anything war like. LOL This one's not bad so far. It's not grabbing me, but it's not bad.

I hear you re Tisdale not being able to compare to Kleypas. I haven't read any of Kleypas' novels--at least not in recent years--but, I have read Tisdale. She's ok, but not what I'd call great. The only book of hers that I've read is LAIDEN'S DAUGHTER. It was a 3 or 3 1/2 star read for me. I liked it, but didn't love it. I've not read any of the other books in that series, but one of the four book sets I just bought has two of them; Findlay's and Wee William's stories, I think.

How's the reading coming along? Which book did you just review? BTW did you get the other DUKE freebie also...the one entitled THE DUKE AND THE GOVERNESS--I think?

Dunno if anyone is interested, but this box set of three full-length regency novels is selling for $2.51. Each book sell individually for $3.82. I got the first in the series ONCE A DUCHESS when it was a freebie a while back. I liked it, but I think the h should have made it harder for the H to get her back. I think I gave it 4 stars. The a-hole H divorced the h in a public proceeding, accusing her of adultery--which of course was not true! His mother manipulated the whole thing! Can you imagine how that ruined her life?! When they met again some three years later, she was a cook at an inn and the a-hole had the nerve to tell her it was embarrassing to HIM! Really?! I wanted to strangle him. Well, anyway, here is the link.

That's it for today. TTYL!

OMG! Ladies I just had to let you know, I read the St. Claire freebie, AFTER MIDNIGHT--it's on our list for today. It was utterly delightful! OMG! I LOVED it. Yes, it's really short, so there isn't' a whole lot to the story, but WOW! I think Ms. St. Claire outdid herself this time. Check out my review and make sure you get it today if you want it. It's good bedtime reading!

I didn't the duke's governess and see it shot back up. I had such a miserable day with my computer yesterday. We did get it fixed but it took forever. I did a review for Just A Kiss and Reckless and I'm going to start Fragments Of Grace today. Hey EB, I'm so sorry you had a such a hard time with your computer. I can totally relate! It's such a pain when you're computer isn't working. We rely so heavily on our computers, but it's not until they're not working that we really realize how much!

I'm still reading ENTANGLEMENTS. It's nice, but not gripping. When I'm reading it, I'm really into it, but once I put it aside, then I'm tempted to skip reading the rest of it. I keep making myself go back to it though. It's a really good story so far, but I'm just not into the early 1900's or the Hitler war, for that matter. Sigh But, come hell or high water I am going to finish it. LOL

I read AFTER MIDNIGHT this morning and loved it. It's really short, so it's lacking in detail and character development, but I still gave it 5 stars. After all we can't expect to hold short stories to the same standard as full-length novels, now can we? LOL

I've been working on our healthcare benefits this morning. Tomorrow is the last day for open enrollment. It's been a hectic morning and I am so tired. My daughter's best friend slept over yesterday, because her mother was scheduled for surgery this morning and had to be at the hospital for 6 a.m. They were very good and getting them ready and off to school was easy enough, but... They fell asleep pretty quickly when they first went to bed, but they were both awake in the middle of the night and I had to threaten to separate them before they'd go back to sleep. I had to stay with them after that and my daughter tossed and turned for almost an hour before she finally went back to sleep. By that time I was fully awake so it took me a while before I went back to sleep. Did I mention that that was at 3 a.m. this morning?! I'm exhausted!

Wow you had your work cut out for you. OMG let e tell you happened to me. I get this call about an hour ago and I didn't recognize the # so I let it go to the answering machine. So I'm reading my emails and the person starts saying that the IRS has filed a law suit against me and that they have been attempting to get a hold of me and this is their final attempt and left a #. I shoot up and grab the phone and it cut the # off. I thank god for what happened next. I tried to call back to the # and it said it was disconnected. I then called my tax agent and got their voice mail. I'm going out of my mind at this point thinking I'm going to jail. I'm shaking, my husband is pacing and worried because neither one of us can understand what this was all about. So I go on line looking up the IRS # and they sent you through this huge menu and put me on hold. It was a 30-60 minute wait so I hung up and try my tax agent again. Thank god she answered because when I explained the phone call she tells me it's a scam. Can you believe this? They call you up and scare you into sending money and they'll clean you out. I mean I was relieved and at the same time thanking god because if I would have got that phone number I would have been scammed. He truly was watching out for me. I've had that # on my phone b4 but they never left a message. So be aware ladies and spread the word because that is just scary.

On a happier note I went back and fixed my review you liked earlier it had a lot of mistakes and yesterday was a bad day so I like it better now. The one I read this morning could have been so much better had it been longer than 30 pages. She had some good thoughts but it was too short. That one book we read that was 30 pages did a little better at the descriptions than this on but the characters were cute just too brief for my taste. I hope you sleep better tonight. BTW Just a Kiss isn't one I can loan. The way got it was neat. It was in my email and when I clicked on it I could download it through Amazon with a side note that said A gift for JS. I also get what you mean about being distracted it's like you want to read it and it is cute but it's missing something that you look for in a book (probably the romance). The 1900's don't appeal to me either. You figure 1920's the car came out and I totally like the buggy era. Things were more relaxed and people weren't in such a rush. They put their priorities in more important places. Gentleman protected their ladies and hopefully the lady was blessed with a good man because she had no voice than. Love it!

OMG, EB! That was a close call, but you probably would've ducked it out. I've learned to never respond to emails or phone calls that are like that. You know, sometimes you'll get an email, that is supposed to be from your credit card company, saying there is some problem, so please click here to go to the website. I never do that. I go directly to the company's website or I call them using the number on my credit card. Same thing with phones calls, I never call the number they leave. I get the official number and call back. As for the IRS my husband was self employed when we loved in California, so unfortunately we've had a lot of dealings with them. They NEVER call, but always communicate by mail. I suppose if one were to fail to respond to their letter they'd eventually call, but in all the years I've dealt with them they've never called us. That being said, I can only imagine how stressed out you were until you discovered the truth for yourself. Thank God you didn't answer the phone right then, otherwise who knows what you might've done in your fear. I'd like to think though, that you wouldn't have given them anything.

I'm glad to hear that you finally got your laptop fixed. I'm sure you're relieved. I'm tired as heck, but haven't been able to nap. I almost never nap...I just can't relax enough to do it. When my kids were younger I'd lie down with them sometimes and take one, but never anymore. I remember the days before I had kids, naps were a regular part of my routine. Sigh

I haven't read any of ENTANGLEMENTS today. I'll read a few pages before I go to bed tonight. I'd like to get that book done, because until I finish it I won't allow myself to start another one. :-)

Has anyone heard from Noreen? I was thinking that if they would have asked me to send money or whatever I would have definitely talked to my tax agent. That is what I pay them for. If it was a lawsuit I would asked for my day in court as well but man it's just insane how they are so ballsy. I haven't started FOG yet I have been scanning through different books just to see what's out there. Last night and part of today I've been rereading an old fav of mine. It's a P&P variation by Susan Adriani called truth about Mr. Darcy. I figure I still have time b4 starting FOG since Noreen hasn't started yet either.

You too with the favorites? LOL I fell asleep reading an old favorite too. That's the kind of mood I've been in lately. I've read about 1/2 chapter more of ENTANGLEMENTS since this afternoon. Truth be told, we've been so busy that I really haven't had time to read anymore. I do plan on reading at least the rest of that chapter and one more before heading to bed.

No I haven't heard from Noreen. I'm a little concerned, but what to do? Yes those people are ballsy! And unfortunately, they do get money from people all the time, which is why they keep doing it. Mostly, they con poor elderly people who just don't know any better. :-(

You're a lot nicer than I am. When the review says nothing, I vote unhelpful and keep on going. Roger that, Ghostbuster! ROTFL

I am looking for reviews that will help me in deciding to buy this book or not. Put why you liked or hated it not one or two word answers. It made me feel better and Amazon can't say I was offensive because they're reviews don't help anyone they just raise review numbers and I was looking for helpful reviews.

I know, you're right of course. Asking them "why" etc. might help to prompt them to either write a more thorough review, or stop cluttering the review section with unhelpful reviews. I just can't be bothered. I'd say it's common sense that you really need to explain why you feel the way you do about a book, if you intend your review to be helpful. But then again, not everyone sees things the way we do. I swear a lot of people write reviews only because Amazon sends them those annoying emails asking them to do so. Who knows? LOL

I actually read 3 chapters of my book yesterday. It's so good, I feel bad when I procrastinate about getting back to it. LOL Although in truth, yesterday was so hectic I didn't have the time to get to it. I'm at the point in the story where the h and H meet again. They've been apart for 49 days (I know that because the H has been counting, even though he tells himself he wants nothing to do with the h. LOL) He's been off in the field fighting and she's been helping a lady take care of orphan children. When they reunite, there is one point when he thinks she got married. His reaction was kinda funny. He's leaning over her, chest to chest, with his forehead to hers, while she's leaning back against the car door. I'm thinking, "hey buddy, would you like it if someone was in such close proximity to your wife?" LOL

The reason I started reading this book is that in the blurb it says the h and H meet first. Then he comes calling at her house, and becomes enthralled with her beautiful sister. I always love an underdog story. The h is beautiful--so the H keeps telling her--but, she is shy and a bit withdrawn. That is thanks to her mother, who is always criticizing and putting her down. The h really doesn't think she's beautiful or that she can hold a candle to her sister. The H wants to avoid her because he's had a bad marriage. He's in the Army and his wife was a slut. She slept with tons of fellow officers and his commanders (this last to ensure his promotions, which, of course, helped her.) He doesn't trust women now, but instinctively trusts the h because she's such a bad liar. LOL

She's the type that could get him to commit again and he wants nothing to do with that. He's very handsome and likes to flirt around with women--he has lots of ladies. The h's sister is just another woman that he flirts with, but the real reason he does it is because he realizes that it engages the sister and mother and takes their negative focus off the h...otherwise the mother is putting her down. He calls it "mindless flirting." Of course, the h thinks he's enthralled with the sister, but that is so not true. He sees her for the selfish creature that she is--just like most other women.

What are you reading now? Have you gotten to FOG as yet or is your mood still waffling? He recognizes the h as a threat to his bachelorhood.

My mood is still wanting to explore. I was looking at some more books last night and do know how many reviews I came across that were brief and said nothing important about the book? There were some books I was looking at by Donna Fletcher who didn't have any helpful reviews. Amazon has changed on there review section because so many of the reviews are reading like I really like your book. It's like they think their writing a fan letter. Keira Montclair has a new book out. I ended up getting it.

OK ladies, here are a few freebies today. Remember the freebie RUIN ME PLEASE from a few weeks ago? Here's book 2 in that series. I read both and they were both annoying. Everyone is so perfectly beautiful, so perfectly rich, so perfectly annoying. And all the women--or should I say girls?!--giggle like idiots! Ugh I think I rated book one 2 1/2 stars and book two, 3 stars.

Some people complained about THE BRIDE AND THE BRUTE, but I liked it. It's super short, so there isn't much to the story, but I found it quite entertaining. The H is blackmailed into marrying the h whose father has purportedly kidnapped the H's sister. He thinks the h is in on her father's scheme, when the poor thing it totally in the dark. The H is so mean to the h you just wanna strangle him, but you really can't blame him, can you? He's wanted to hold out for a love match and now he's being forced to marry a woman he doesn't know! Of course the kidnapping scheme isn't all that it seems.

Uh oh, PIRATE HUNTER'S MISTRESS sounds good! Of course I own the darn thing, have since last December, but I totally forgot about it! I recently created a TBR list on my device. I now add books that I'm very interested in reading, as I discover them--whether they are new books or ones I already own. PIRATES is definitely getting added to that now!

Ooh Ooh, CUPID'S FAVOR is book 3 in the "Naughty Cupids Series." Book 1, CUPID'S ENCHANTMENT was a freebie a couple of weeks ago. We may actually end up getting this entire series for free. Yay!

OMG! I just went into my HDX and it is beautiful! LOL They did a system update overnight and I'm liking the changes! It's like getting a new device! ROTFL I now have the GR app, but I'm not sure if that's because I downloaded it from the Google store yesterday...I thought that was just for my phone, but now I see it also on my Kindle. That's strange. I'm rambling, I know! Sorry!

Back to the list. PLEAD FORGIVENESS BETRAYED ONCE and BETRAYED TWICE is an ongoing two book series. As you see they are both free today. Nice! BTW it sounds like a really, really good story!

OMG! I hope Noreen has internet access. Book four of Wessingham Awaits is available, Noreen. Here it is just for you!!! All we have left to get now is book 5. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because up until now it's never been free. I've had the first four books forever, but just can never get book 5 for free. I'll probably have to suck it up and buy it when I decide to read the series. Sigh I'm sooooo cheap! LOL

That's it for today, ladies. I know I go on a lot, but I hope my commentaries about the books listed is helpful. TTYL Kate, Noreen, I miss you!

Ah, Ms. Montclair will get you out of the doldrums. Remember, so long as you don't download FOG it wont start counting against your 14 days. Also, if you don't download it within the 7 days, then it gets returned to me and I can always resend it to you, because that wont count as a loan. At least that's my understanding of the situation.

I just got done scrubbing down my upstairs and moving furniture and vacuuming so I am ready for a break. I have been thinking about my book. Captain Robbie Grant is the H and he is dreamy and so I'm off. LOL Thanks for the books I got thought the 2 betrayed books looked good and to guard her heart as well. Thanks

Yes, the BETRAYED books look great! I have them too. Actually I have both books as well as the two book set. LOL I'm crazy like that! They were all free, of course. You didn't get the PIRATE one? Don't let the name fool you, it's nothing to do with pirates. The H assumes the identify of his recently deceased cousin, who closely resembles him. The cousin was married to the h, but they don't have a real marriage. He married her for her money, and I'm not sure why she married him...social standing maybe? The H intends on borrowing some money from the h to get a ship or some such, but she wants a real marriage, I think. Or at least she wants her husband to start behaving like a husband. She has no intention of relinquishing control of her fortune, that's for sure. The H of course, becomes enthralled with the h, but she doesn't know that he's not her husband! LOL It sounds dreamy. I don't like Pirate romances, but like I said I don't think this one has anything to do with Pirates. Maybe the H was a pirate before he assumed his cousin' identity? Who knows?

OMG Noreen, we've missed you! And I've been a bit worried. We knew you had storms last weekend, so did I. We are in MA, you're in Connecticut, right? We also lost power for a little while a couple of times, but luckily that was it.

Take your time reading, but know that book 4 of WESSINGHAM AWAITS is now available for free! I hope you got book 3. I can't remember if you were online when it was available, but I think you were. We will talk and catch up later.

BTW we are thinking of having an event with Fragments of Grace by Le Veque. Do you have that book? I wanna say you do, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you think when you get a chance.

Yes, I'm in Connecticut in the boonies. lol We lose power all the time. Last year our Bunn coffee maker got toasted in an outage. This is the second time we have lost a fan on a computer tower over outages.

Awwww...I missed you gals too. Hey, I just grabbed Wessingham Awaits so now I am only missing book number 5. :) I have Fragments of Grace and will start it tonight or tomorrow since I just finished a book. lol All that time with no computer and just a kindle. ;) By the way...the book I just finished is The Highlander's Bride. I am going to do a review on it in a few minutes before I forget. ;)

I read HIGHLANDER'S BRIDE this past weekend. I liked it a lot, but it annoyed me that the h refused to disclose her grandfather's identity to the H. It just seemed too stupid, especially after she agreed to marry him. I couldn't fathom how she figured she was protecting her grandfather. Unfortunately, authors so frequently employ a ridiculous plot aspect to keep the story moving forward. In this instance she needed a secret, I guess to add to the mystery and intrigue, but I thought it was dumb! Other than that I loved the story. It reminded me, to some extent, of a Garwood novel, and I absolutely adore Garwood! What did you think? Did you feel that way too, or was it just me being crazy?!

As for losing power, I don't exactly live in the boonies. We live on the south shore, about 30-45 minutes south of Boston, and we lose power fairly frequently. My sister in law lives about fifteen minutes away, and I swear that as soon as a light breeze blows they lose power! I've never experienced so much power outage in my life, not even when I lived in hurricane island...aka Florida. LOL

RF, I know you were getting frustrated with The Highlander's Bride and I purposely highlighted areas to help me figure out what was wrong and pointed them out in my review. I loved the book but had to take off points for a wayward storyline. lol

I am always saying that we lose power at the drop of a hat because sometimes there isn't even any wind. I sometimes think they are just messing with me and shutting it off to tick me off. lol

Good morning, ladies! Here are a few freebies for today.

This following one is the 4th book in the Bonded By Blood Vampire Chronicles series. Book 1 is available for free, and I also have book 3 that I got for free over the summer. I'm not sure if any of you are interested or maybe have both those other books in the series, but book 4 is now available for preorder at the special price of .99 cents. Here's the link in case you're interested.

http://www.amazon.com/Midnight-Eclips...

That's it for the freebies today, ladies. Lately when I do the freebie search in the Historical Romance section, I've noticed a bunch of erotic short stories, entitled things like "Getting It On With the MILF Next Door" and other such titles. Today there are a ton regarding step-moms, such as "Peeking On My Stepmom." Really?! These are all clearly erotic books, with no romance, and they are CONTEMPORARY! Can someone explain how it is that they end up listed in a search for HISTORICAL ROMANCE books?! LOL

Noreen, make sure you go back through the freebie lists for the past few days. There were quite a few new ones, and many are still free! Wouldn't want you to miss out. I tried organizing my books into collections, but I have so many that I think I may be fighting a losing battle. I wanted to organize them by genre, such as Regency, Medieval, Highlands, etc. At this point I just don't think that's going to happen. At least I got the kids books in one collection and most of the contemporary in another. Oh I also created a collection for books that are in a series, and listed them in order of publication. That may be all I can do. With over 2000 books, it's just about impossible to do otherwise. Sigh

Hey Noreen, thanks! Yes, it should take about six months or so to get 1% of our books organized. LOL I went through my series novels today and organized them in order of publication. I had it partially done last night, but I wasn't sure which books came first with a few of the series. I used the website http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/ to help me. That's a great website, BTW. It has most authors listed and will give you a list of all the authors books, the series they have published, and the order in which their books were released. It's great!

OMG! I hope Kate is around for this...remember the book I was telling you all about a while back...the one where the h had something like five kids and the H had facial disfigurement that resulted in his teeth being exposed? EB, Kate, we might've actually had this conversation in our previous group, in which case Noreen would have no idea of what I'm talking about. But in any case, I FOUND IT!!! Yay! The name of the book is Dare to Kiss it's by Jo Beverly. LOL

FYI ladies if you have two different e mails that you use you have to make sure that it is signed up under your amazon account. I didn't think it mattered and I tried to comment but it didn't acknowledge me as Elizabeth Bennet but under my true name. So I had to change my settings. Anyhow I finshed Journey to the Highlandsand did my review. It was long because I had a lot to get off my chest. Whew, I was so disappointed and this is a 2nd book now I haven't enjoyed she's heading darker and even though the guy gets the girl I felt like she wasn't saved. It was just my feelings on it I think it's a loanable if anyone wants to see if they feel different. I would love to hear what one of you guys think.

RF~ I remember Snaggle tooth and Mother Hubbard. LMAO! I'm sure Noreen remembers that conversation because I think she commented. I really need a sweet love story you guys. I feel retched after KM's book. I just wanted to weep for this heroin and there was no knight in shining armor. Robbie stepped in but I felt he was too late. Now I just want to find something that reaffirms that they all aren't lost. Let me know if there are any takers.

Noreen~ I just couldn't get into it and I don't think I'll try any more of hers for a while. You know I'm really not a cat person I'm more of a dog person. I just didn't see their purpose I usually love animals ads some kids in a story but in this one I didn't. The book I just read the kids were it's saving grace believe it or not. The romance was shot to hell I really don't know how I finished it. I usually throw books that annoy me down but with her books I haven't been able to do it yet but if she continues in this vein I won't waste my money.

BTW I wrote the 5th review for the book and the only review that really said anything not that I think I'm great it's just that no one really gave any insight to the book.

I knew I could rely on you RF. Downloaded snaggles immediately. I know it's a train wreck but I've got to look.

Well I've been busy getting the house ready for winter and my usual babysitting. I still managed to get some reading done. The upside to insomnia. I read The Mail-Order Brides by Bronwyn Williams. Really liked it. It takes place in South Carolina for a change.

I read Triangle it was about the Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire. I had watched a documentary on it years ago that was fascinating but the book was dry as dust. It was written by a political reporter and it showed . More about the politics of why it happened then the humanity of the victims.

Not to long ago I read a time travel that I gave 3 stars to. After Triangle I was looking for something light so I tried the sequel The Wolf and the Highlander by Jessie Gage. The author surprised me. Instead of moving to a different time period she moved the story to a new genre. Fantasy. First time I've seen a writer do that. Showed real originality I thought.

Well it's almost 3am. I'm babysitting my 4 year old granddaughter who woke me up at 5:30 this morning. So Should I go to bed or just keep reading until she wakes up? I did catch a 2 hour nap this afternoon. I so wish I was tired.

Oh, EB! I'm so sorry! Montclair usually does it for you. I don't particularly care for kids in my romances, especially if they are the h's children. Animals I can take or leave, so long as they are not focused on too much. Mother Hubbard, as you know. had FIVE children! Ugh! I did read the blurb for Robbie's story and saw that his h had two children. What was so bad about it? Did she have a really bad, violent history with her husband? I'll have to check out your review.

Believe it or not, I'm still reading ENTANGLEMENTS! That's what you get for reading outside your comfort zone! LOL To be honest though, it's not the books fault. I've been busy with other things, but I know that I had been reading one of my usual favorites I would have put everything else aside to finish it. That's good and bad. With this book, I've been reading some during the day and trying to read a chapter or two before I go to bed at night. I'm up to 70% right now. It's really good, just slow going--not the story, but me! Kate, this is one you might enjoy. You too, Noreen, seeing as you've been branching out into different genres.

It's set in WWI in Belgium. The H is a soldier, the h a confectionery heiress. Her family has turned traitor and she is left with suspicion hanging over her head. In the meantime, the H has been trying to claw his way up the promotional ladder...he's very ambitious. Wouldn't do for him to be hanging out with a woman who has a taint of treachery hanging over her head, now would it? Well, the poor sucker can't help himself! LOL

OMG, Kate! You are a true insomniac! Doesn't it drive you crazy?! I know there are people who say they wish they were insomniacs because they would get so much done, but really, that's just plain ignorance if you ask me. I've met a few and it's really hard for them. The brain pretty much never shuts down! It seems awful to me. Now if I could function with a little less sleep, that would be nice, but I pray I never succumb to insomnia. My brain is always running, no matter what I'm doing, and my thoughts can be so stressful. It's why I read so much, because I can immerse myself in the story and stop thinking for a while. Same with television, but to a much lesser degree.

Yes, I found Snaggles for you...finally! LOL And I want you to know that I was going through my entire 2000+ book collection for the second time before I found it!!!! I decided to organize my books by genre. It's a HUGE undertaking. I wish it were easier. Anyhow, Regency is going to be a bitch, because most of my books are set in that period. I decided to put the books set in historical North America into one group. I really wanted to have a separate, distinct group for Westerns, but figured it would be too much work to try to figure out which books were westerns and which were American, non-Western. Anyhow, I'm going through all of them, using my Kindle as well as the Kindle app on my laptop, so I can have a visual of the books as I check them off on the Kindle into the group...then I saw it, DARE TO KISS. I thought to myself, that looks familiar, I think that may be Snaggles (well I didn't actually say Snaggles. LOL) Sure enough, when looked it up on Amazon it was it! I was so excited!

Let me know what you think about it. Many people, as I'm sure you saw, liked it a lot and some even loved it. You may be in one of those categories. I certainly hope so, after you've been looking forward to the read for so long. LOL

Welcome back, BTW. You were missed. I start to get worried if I don't hear from any of you for a signicant period of time. Sigh BTW, Noreen is down for a FRAGMENTS event. She said she'd start reading the book. We have only EB to read it and then we will be read. But, EB is in the middle of a funk, so I'm not sure when she'll be able to get around to it. EB, what do you think? You said you needed something soft and sweet? Fragments has a wonderful romance, but there is a lot of action, so I don't know how that will play into your mood right now. I will look through my books and see if I can find something that might turn your mood. We'll see if Noreen has started FOG, if she has then after you've started it we'll set a date and time for the event. No pressure!

I'll check back in later. Maybe I'll have a book for you EB!
